Midtown Manhattan hotel close to the Jacob K Javits Convention Centre
The Travel Inn Hotel is located in midtown Manhattan close to the Jacob K Javits Convention Center which hosts many trade shows and conventions. The contemporary décor gives the hotel a sophisticated ambience. The hotel has a free garage, a swimming pool, a fitness center and tour desk to assist guests in booking tickets. The hotel was built in 1963 and has retained its sense of charm with rooms that have the feel of a more genteel past. excellent in every way
Only one night for a convention, but the staff treated me as if I were a resident: polite, attentive, professional in every way, including going above and beyond when I left a jacket behind. Room was perfectly quiet, immaculate, and very comfortable in an old-fashioned way. Highly recommended in all respects.

Excellent hotel!
We enjoyed the room - very neat and clean. Parking was free - a big plus. The staff were always available and helpful. The room stayed cool even though the temperature outside was in 90's and above most of our stay. We were close to Times Square and the dock where we took our sight seeing boat tour. It was a great value!

Great Location, good value for money
Hotel is just minutes away from Times Square. Several diners right on your doorstep. Staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money, room was a good size which is rare in the heart of New York, bathroom not a bad size, bed was very comfortable. Would make a return visit to this hotel and recommend to friends

nice room, great location
The room was nice, better than other NYC hotels that I've stayed in. It was clean & had great amenities. There was a back door that led to the pool, very convenient, but did not use because of cold weather. There was a kiosk at the lobby to buy tickets for shows & sightseeing trips.
