Had a great stay here during a long weekend
I came across this hotel while booking a long weekend. While I was a little unsure because it was a small boutique hotel in lower Manhattan. The consistently good reviews gave me confidence. I must say, every good thing that has been said about this hotel is right on the money. Sure, it may take a little time to find the place because it's located on one of the short narrow streets of lower Manhattan. It was a great, quiet little place to stay. I would choose this place if you're looking for the Manhattan experience at a very good price. I would definitely go back to this place again the next time I'm in New York.

Very quiet retreat in Manhattan. Quaint area with small streets and walking/dining only streets with restored vintage brick buildings.. We had meetings in Soho, and this was a nice walk away. Will definitely return to Wall Street Inn on our next trip!

Great Lower Manhattan/ Wall St hidden gem
Grear location, a block away from Wall St. Metro and 10 minute walk to Battery Park. Nice small, quiet and very comfortable, with lovely cafes and restaurants around the corner. Absolutely recommendable for both business and pleasure, especially if you want to have a good night sleep away from the super crowded touristy spots.

Good find
This hotel is in the heart of the financial district and within walking distance to many great restaurants. The 911 memorial is very close and definitely worth a visit. If you book early you can get in for under 200.00 a night. Great value considering the area.

Close to work
Overall the hotel was good, it served its purpose and was close to where I needed to be. However, there were a few drawbacks. The internet connection in the rooms was nearly non-existent and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Generally for the price I would overlook these items, but for being in the heart of Manhattan I would expect more. However since these are easily solved problems, the location and building are fantastic and the staff was very nice.

Nice hotel
Very nice smaller hotel in the financial district. Hotel is located in South Williams street which is a very small street with little traffic right next to Wall Street. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple (bagels, pastries, fruit, coffee, thee and OJ) but of good quality. Rooms are of good size with updated bathroom. Short walk to Battery Park and metro. They have a car service to JFK which is cheaper than taking a cab. For the price, I have not found any better hotel.

Shopping tip:
Not Applicable
Take the metro line 4 or 5 North to south central park (59th street) and walk your way down via 5th Avenue for shopping. Enjoy a great steak dinner at Gallagher's restaurant (228 west 52nd street) Not cheap but very good!

Excellent small hotel
This is the second time I have stayed at the Wall Street Inn, a small hotel located a stone's throw from Battery Park in a very quiet location and close to Wall Street. The rooms are not large, but clean, pleasant and perfectly adequate. A good continental breakfast, which one can take up to the room, is included in the price of the room. Tea and coffee are available free in the lobby 24/7. They also provide a free New York Times, daily and Sunday! There is a small refrigerator in the room but no coffee or tea machine, which I missed!! The hotel is located very near several subways so it is easy to get to any part of the city to shop or sight-see. It is also close to the Staten Island Ferry and the water taxi to Ikea! There are plenty of good, not outrageously expensive, places to eat in the area. The hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. They will arrange a ride to LaGuardia for a very reasonable price (better than Yellow Cab). I will definitely use this hotel again.

Wall St Inn
What a great inn! Friendly, helpful staff; impeccably maintained; never-ending refreshments. They achieve the best of a European experience in NY. Subway stations are a short walk, so access to any part of the city is easy. The inn is walking distance from many interesting sites, such as Trinity Church, the Native American Museum, Battery Park, and the Southside Seaport. Daily breakfast consists of cereal, fresh fruit, high-quality pastries, a variety of bagels and whole-grain bread to toast. Cream cheese and other condiments. Juice, coffee, tea, milk. All day long they kept fresh coffee brewing and water for tea, fresh fruit and pastries were always available.

Nice hotel, nice location
Room size was probably average for NYC, but beds were a little smaller than I was expecting,. Room was clean and had standard amenities. Breakfast was served in a small room on ground floor but was a reasonable continental affair, decent croissant/danish, fresh fruit, bagles, cereals. Perfectly fine for us to leave spare for big lunch. Free wifi worked well. The hotel didn't really have any bar or louge areas but there were nice options nearby. Short and safe wlak to several metro stops on different lines.
