Excellent location
This hotel is right opposite to the Rockefeller. Even though the rooms are smaller, they are clean and cozy.

An absolute gem.
Loved everything about this hotel.The location itself was well worth the money.Literally steps away from the Rockefeller Center,between 5th and 6th Avenue.Times Square and Central Park are easily within walking distance. Very clean,modern and well run hotel.Staff couldn't have be more helpful.My husband was unwell during our stay and they often took time to ask how he was feeling. Great facilities too.A cupboard outside our room had irons and ironing boards,spare pillowslips and refills for the coffeemaker,also a chilled water dispenser with bottles on every floor. A small lounge with free tea and coffee,internet access and a tv was well used as it had the best coffee in Manhattan ! Can't recommend the Jewel highly enough,we are hoping to return to New York and will definately be returning here for our stay .

Just 2 doors to the left as you leave the hotel is a great deli,called Simply Food,selling really nice food at a reasonably low price.We had breakfast there every morning.Friendly staff too.

Jewel is tops
The hotel is central to all one may wish to experience, theatre, Central Park, Times Square etc. The subway is very close and you can be anywhere in the city in minutes, as well, cabs are plentiful. The staff is is excellent and very helpful. Aside from the room being a bit small, standard for NYC hotels, the time at the Jewel was perfect and I will return again.

You are walking distance from Times Square and the theatre district yet away from ther hustle and bustle and craziness of that area.

A great hotel in a great location
The staff were brilliant - they could not do enough to assist you. The roms were comfortable. The lounge on the 2nd floor was lovely. Water bottles and machines available on each floor. Access to ice. Location for us was perfect. My brother was getting married at the Top of the Rock so not far to walk. Close to 5th Avenue and easy walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Broadway and lots of other places.Will definately be going back there and recommending it to others.

GOOD LOCATION & NICE
It's very convenienc for walking arround, the Rock center, MOMA, the Fivth Avenue and the Broadway shows. The breakfast we had in next door 7 floor is very good and comfortble. The stsff are very nice and helpful. My daughter likes the bed very much.

We went to watch the WICKED on the same street. The MOMA is two blocks away. And there is Michelin restarant there. But if you like to have diner there you should make the reservation.

Great location and good value in Manhattan
The hotel is conveniently located next to Rockefeller Center, within an easy walk of the theatre district, Time Square, and the Grand Central area. The staff was very accommodating, letting us check in late morning as our rooms were already available. The car service that they arranged for us worked out very well. The rooms, though small, were comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable weekend getaway
The location of the hotel was ideal; within walking distance to numerous sights e.g. Rockefeller Plaza, MOMA, Times Square, and Central Park. The hotel was quiet and cozy with nice amenities of fresh water, espresso coffee, and a fridge and microwave.

Anniversary vacation
Very pleasant surprise as how nice the Jewel was. It was very clean and comfortable. We checked in and walked to Times Sq. for the night. Great location for us as we were going on a cruise the next day out of the NY terminal. Walked to Central Park, St. Patricks Cathedral and the terminal! Never took a taxi!!
