Lives up to expectations
With W Hotels, you pretty much know what you are going to get -- great bed, great service, plenty of amenities -- and all with style. This was no exception. I wasn't crazy about the location -- I am more of a downtown kind of guy. But it was a great value!

Family Visit
While not inexpensive, our room was certainly worth the price. Our two room suite allowed our family and guests to have a great place to relax and get out of the NYC summer heat. Hotel staff, while responsive to direct requests, were New York cool. Lobby staff, doormen, etc seemed to be on their cell phones as much as paying attention to the needs of a guest with a heavy bag. Despite having two flat panel TV's in the suite only one worked, despite our bellman's effort to get it working. The very fancy Bose CD player was dead, and dispite requests for an engineer for a fix, it never did work. Nonetheless, for an NYC hotel, the room was very spacious, clean and welcoming.

Both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building are in sight and walking distance of the hotel. Grand Central Station is even closer.

Comfy room, attentive staff
The hotel is located in a somewhat residential neighborhood, a little off the beaten path, but it is nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. I would stay here again, and recommend it to other travelers.

the most amazing bed I've ever slept in
The W Court was exquisite- very clean, very sexy- with the most amazing bed I've ever slept in. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NYC- very close to Times Square and Midtown- great Chinese food up the block! Only downside was no free Wi-Fi- had to pay 16 buck for internet.

Great stay
I had a very nice stay at the W. The room was quiet and very comfortable, and the staff was quite friendly and courteous, which I really appreciated. The one downside was that the hotel appeared to have a nice lounge, but it wasn't open often, which seemed odd. I was particularly surprised it was closed just before dinner, as it would have been a fun place to get a drink before going out.

Great retreat in a busy city
W New York - The Court is a very nice hotel close enough to all the major attractions of midtown Manhattan, but not located on a street that is too noisy or busy.
