No loyality points????
Because I booked through a third party the hotel would not give me any loyality points. Also, room looked tired and dirty .... even if new grout was laid in the bathroom this would be a major improvement. Overall the room showed lack of being cared about .... bed skirt was never pulled out from in between mattresses once the sheets were changed .... there was debris on the floor where the vacuum missed. Furniture was worn. If I didn't have any other choices - I would stay here again .... but there are a lot of Manhattan hotels to choose from. Location was really enjoyable however. Wasn't too cracked up about the front desk staff. Not too friendly or welcoming. Security guys were exceptionally friendly however.

A single woman's stay
The St. Giles Hotel is in a great location. It provided a comfortable room and helpful staff. I was able to enjoy my time in Manhattan, and know I had a clean and comfy room to sleep each night.

You Can't Beat It!
Located perfectly in Midtown East, The St. Giles is a perfect option for the family, couple or business traveller. My only advice, do not get a room facing Lexington....it's a bit loud.

Great hotel, Great Value
It's a super nice hotel, large rooms and comfortable space. Good design. It's in a quiet enough street and three blocks away from Grand Central. Super good price for New York.

It was ok.
i liked the location and it felt nice and welcoming. however someone spilled what smelled like vodka or alcohol in the hallway and that stunk up the 9th floor. The price was what you expect to pay but the room needs some upgrades for sure.

A pleasant surprise
I made the booking in the last minute, and was prepared for anything, but wanted good value for my money but wasn't prepared to pay a 'normal' New York price. I wanted a hotel in that particular area since the friends I was meeting were up Lexington Ave. I didn't know what to expect, and for the price I paid I must say I was positively surprised once I got into the lobby and my room - the scaffolding on the outside made me think I'd made a mistake... Beautiful view from my 16th floor corner room, a generous bed, clean bathroom and a homely feeling. The reception staff was friendly and nice design details in bot the room and common areas. I can warmly recommend this hotel!

Not what we expected!!
1st off...THE COURTS web site is very misleading...the place looks nothing like whats advertised, (including the views) during check-in, we were hit with a bunch of hiddens fees which weren't included at reservation time in which I reserved 2weeks in advance. So on top of my reservation hold on my credit card, additional fees were set during my check-in! The parking sucks around unless your a U.S. diplomat with diplomatic plates and valet will cost you 50bucks w the hotel! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! The in room dining was closed, and the only thing tht we thought was worth it was its location...rt next to the midtown tunnel so we could exit fast!
