Great price, good location
Easy to get to through the midtown tunnel! Quick walk to 5th avenue. The rooms were clean and sizable and the price was right. Would recommend.

Pretty quality Hotel in a great local
Location couldnt be better, overall I would greatly recommend this hotel. These were the only cons. The Bar doesnt open until 6:30 on saturday night. we wanted to go to the hotel bar before dinner but that didnt happen. The AC in the room didnt work. It was set at 62 but the room was 74 degrees. Some of the cable channels were fuzzy including ESPN so that was not great. Other than that though, I highly recommend

I GO PLACES
What a Pleasant Surprise
Especially if you're coming into the city from LaGuardia or JFK, you couldn't pick a better location. There's something perfectly understated about this hotel, and I've never seen such a large room at such a low price in NYC. This is definitely a must-see/stay.

Discover Sarge's Deli on 3rd Ave and 36th. If you're a real delicatessanista or isto, try the triple decker (tongue, corned beef, and chopped liver) sandwich. You won't regret it!

Great location - good value
Great location in mid-town. Room was very spacious (especially for NYC). The only negative was the noisy central air.

Midtown business
I love this hotel. If you pay up for a larger room, its completely worth it and you could easily sleep a family in these rooms. Ideally positioned if you are doing business or playing in midtown just south of Grand Central. Also a short walk to Union Square.

Easy. Access to trains, comfy bed
I had a fine experience at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was on a quiet side of bldg so i had no traffic noise. I did not try the bar or breakfast downstairs so can't comment on them. If you want a coffee maker in your room you have to ask for it. There is an Equinox gym a few blocks away, and a breakfast place that serves gluten free pancakes on 41st or 42. I think the best part of this hotel is the proximity to Grand Cental and the subways and I really liked the comfy bed.

The Hotel was easy to find, however it took some time to get our room..but it was worthwile the wait. The Staff was very friendly and nice, they really had us feel welcome in NYC!

Excellent value - NYC Business trip
I have been at St. Giles several times. I like the East side so perfect location - The staff knows my name - nice room, excellent value for a day and ahalf stay. I'll be back
