New York City Visit

Upon making reservations I asked for a front view room and got a side view. Room was found to be stuffy, rug may have something to do with this. couch should have been shampooed or cleaned, noisy air conditioner even after being reported, Inside bolt lock on door inoperative, informed front desk. No air extractors in bathroom, also bathroom was very small. Lobby area was found to be dark. The staff and the hotels location were the only bright spots.

Memories Recaptured

My husband and I travel to NYC almost monthly for business and/or pleasure. I had forgotten about The Benjamin, formerly The Beverly, until recently as a prime location hotel for us to stay. We were there for three days and it far surpassed expectations! The rooms were very quiet, choices of 12 luxury pillows extraordinary, and staff graciously accommodating. Plus, the location being near 5th Ave and Madison shopping, Central Station, Times Square, and Central Park is fantastic! Everything is within easy walking distance.
