very "bijou"! smallest rooms in the world but clean and cute!competitive pricing for the area. well placed for sightseeing. only problem - no lifts! but a happy chappy who will carry your cases upstairs for you.

I've read of some bad reviews
I've read of some bad reviews on this hotel, for example bugs biting in bed. However, I didn't encounter all those horrible things deccribed on the internet. I made a booking for sinlge room and they gave me two double bed room, very nice! The room and the bathroom are very clean. The location is great simply because the hotel is close to a few subway stations within walking distances (in Little Italy and China Town). The price is also very attractive to me. Overall, I will definitely do back to this hotel if I visit New York again.

Don't Stay At This Hotel
Basically, what I found was a hostel in a run down area of SOHO. There was no elevator, the floor was wet when we checked in and the noise within and outside the hotel was unbearable. To top it all off I ended up contracting scabies from the dirty linens in the hotel and am now being treated for the parasites by my physician.

YIKES!!!!
The Sohotel is a dump. The location was not good , I would never walk outside this location at night. I would never reccomend this hotel to someone I liked. I would never stay in this sleazy roach motel again.

So-So SoHotel
Given the short notice with which we made our reservation. This old converted hostel provided adequate accommodations. The day reception staff was a bit brusque and uncooperative, however with a little assertion on our part they provided our room prior to their usual check-in time. The night staff was most courteous and helpful; they provided an excellent reference for an authentic Little Italy dining experience.

Hotel tres sympathique,deco agreable,
Hotel tres sympathique,deco agreable, personel toujours disponible, 24/24, bien situe entre soho, quartier chinois et little italy. Nous retournerons surement dans cet hotel. Seul inconvenient releve mais connu a l avance, pas d ascenseur.
