reasonable hotel
its not the fanciest hotel in town but if you're looking for a place to crash, be comfortable and not be in a place thats falling apart, this is the place. reasonable sized rooms for the proces, very modern, very clean, friendly staff...one of the better value hotels in the area

Great convenient base
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was superb for central New York. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.

A great place midtown
I had a room with private bathroom reserved. Staff upgraded me a small suite. I stayed there last year. The hotel has been renovated and offers great value for the location. I am coming back next time in NYC.

fantastic location for seeing new york
From the time we arrived at the seton hotel we had a brillant holiday. The staff went out of their way to help us when we had any questions. we arrived a day late because our flight was cancelled because of snow in new york, this was not a problem with the hotel. they let us have late check out on day of departure. Our first day we went to Jersey garden,s outlet the bus station was with-in walking distance .The next day we went on the sight seeing bus tour which was a great way to see all the sights of new york. we will be back again .

Great location!
Great location right next to grand central and walking distance to all the best manhattan destinations! Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. We visited NY in early November so the heating unit was on, but it was very loud... So not much for a good night's rest. Otherwise the hotel was great!

Lucid coffee! On Lexington and 38th has The Best coffee. Close location to the hotel made it my favorite breakfast place!

very good for budget price in Midtown
Four blocks from Grand Central is handy. Small but comfortable room. Coffee available downstairs. Courteous, helpful staff. Only disadvantage is shared baths, but a bath is very close to your room.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel very well situated. Within easy walking distance of places to eat,shops and attractions Our room was newly refurbished with lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. Not a big room ,but more than adequate for the little time we spent there. free tea and coffee (& ice machine) much appreciated. Comfortable sitting room with tv. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
To get a bird's eye view of the city, visit the Top of the Rock facility at the Rockefeller centre rather than going to top of the Empire State and go early. No queues , same view. We queued for 3 hrs at E.State last time! Straight up this time, excellent.

the hotel is being remodeled, it is in an excellent location, the sub is close by and so are many attractions, the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful
