Great staff and location. Excellent rooftop bar; rooms over priced for the small size.

We stayed one night for business. We enjoyed the happy hour on the rooftop lounge. Staff is friendly and top notch. Great energy and location. The rooms are amazingly small and smelled musty.

the location was really perfect and it has good stuff too, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and if i had a chance to go to nyc again , I would absolutely choose this hotel.. I have visited NYC many times but I never stayed in a hotel that has a perfect location like hotel 47 !

Good Hotel adjacent to times square. Smalli rooms, but a good value for the location. Staff was exceedingly polite and helpful.

First the room was incredibly tiny, with the shower a glass-wall unit inside the small bedroom; and the sink also inside the bedroom. The toilet is in a small closet. There is one over-the-sink mirror that is oddly lit. When you shower the whole room gets steam up because the glass does not go to the ceiling. The closet is VERY small. There's no room to put your suitcase in the room except to block the little bit of space you have between the wall and the bed. The free continental breakfast is the barest minimum. One elevator was working, and it's a small one. The orb. online description is deceptive; it says fitness room and health club--neither are on premises. Rather you are given a pass to go to the equinox which is FOUR blocks away. This is unacceptable; and unfair advertising. If the fitness room is off premises, the description should say so. i stayed here because it had a fitness center--that's a bottom line item for me, and there wasn't one. Pluses: the Wifi is free and functions throughout this small hotel. the staff is very friendly and goes out of its way to help you, although they are not all very knowledgeable and need to learn more about their neighborhood and the locations of major NY sight, such as the MOMA. The staff does its best to make your experience better (they deserve kudos),but the facilities are lacking

I found this hotel by chance. It's a boutique in the middle of Time Square theatre district, just off to the side on W. 47th street. The lobby is amazing and in many hotels, that does not mean the rooms will match. But this place was just renovated so the entire building is spotless and very well designed. The room was small, but well appointed. The staff was extremely nice and clearly understands what customer service is. I'm sure I got this room for a bargain at $175 per night. But if the price was always in that range, I'd never go anywhere else. It's that nice.

Room was small but VERY modern and well appointed. Staff was outstanding. If you have business at Rockafeller or are in town for Site-Seeing, the location is Near Perfect.

Only a block away from Times Square on a quite street, is the posh Santuary. The staff at hotel is exceptional. All the staff from the front desk to the breakfast bar attendents to the doormen were exceptionally accomodating and happy to see you enjoying your stay. I got into town at 8:00am and checked to see if I could get in the room sooner and within couple of hours they a got a room ready for me to check in. Perfect! Although I was there for only one night the room was very comfortable and chic with great down pillows and covers with plenty of towels. The glass enclosed shower had a rainfall shower head and hand held faucet. The delux queen room was very roomy for New York spaces. Totally recommend staying at the hotel!
