With a front row view to Times Square that's truly incomparable. Our guests reside in the middle of it all, with exciting access to everything and anything - 24/7. The room colors are inspired by the vibrant colors of the NY subway lines and fun graphics sayings on the walls that give homage to our Times Square location. Good spot for a quick overnight

In NYC for a brief meeting, I chose Row NYC based on its location on the E subway line. The location is very convenient --perfect if you're a Broadway hound. Staff was welcoming and efficient on check-in, where I managed to get into my room before noon. Rooms are small but well-designed: essentially a cosmetic remodel of an old low-grade hotel. My favorite feature: elevator banks where you punch in your desired floor and get directed to the proper lift --amazingly efficient and fast. A drink at the bar in the evening set me back nearly $20, reminding me that I really was in New York. Sleep was easy and deep on the excellent bed, though I was a little dismayed to discover the carpet between the bed and the window hadn't been vacuumed since the Bush administration. The fitness room features decent equipment, and is open 24 hours.

Great NYC option!

Small room, but size comparable to other NYC rooms. Nice remodel of lobby and rooms. Only obvious evidence of the old Milburn hotel was the door frames, which need to be replaced rather than another coat of paint added. Felt safe and secure; security staff on the stairs as you enter the lobby, and another checking for room keys by the bank of elevators. Best feature was the elevators. Keypads at elevators where you enter your floor #, directed to a certain elevator, so the elevator doesn't stop unless another patron entered a floor number nearby. Was only on an elevator with other people a couple of times in my 6 day stay. Highly recommend. Will stay again!!

Great Theatre Access

I've stayed here many times...always a few "problems". This time was the room service. Only 2 days out of 5 after making phone calls. Could improve in this area. Room 2202 has a very uncomfortable "modern" chair. Also I never could make the air conditioner work properly. The bathroom has a tiny, tiny shelf for all your needs...could be larger. Bed was great...tv was fine. It's good for just sleeping...but you will want to get out and walk the streets of NYC...and not linger in your room!

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Great access to all the theatres within a few minutes. That's the ONLY reason I chose to stay at this hotel. Also the elevators are unique. You put in "22"...it will say take Car "C"...usually you are the only one and it whisks you to your floor very quickly. GREAT!

NYC Fun

Great location on w/8th and 9th ave. full of restaurants/bars. Right off Bway theaters, easy walk from Grand Central. Very clean, well kept hotel. It is a very busy hotel in the lobby but did easily check-in at 3:30pm. Got a great price this site and would stay again.

Good Location for Manhattan Trip

We went to NYC to see some shows and generally experience Manhattan- its a great location for that as long as you don't need much in the room (Its basically just beds and a bathroom). Rooms were small but comfortable. When we asked for refrigerator, they brought one. Worth it for the location (We were able to walk most of the places that we needed to go such as Central Park and the theaters we went to).

Great value for the price

Hotel lobby and rooms have been recently renovated, and The Row is in a great location. There could be more amenities and the rooms could be a little more spacious, but I still think it's a great value for the price! There's also free wi-fi for the first device in the hotel room, and they have an internet lounge in the lobby! Would return to this hotel.
