Great trip

This was in a great location, it was within walkable distance to times square. The room was colorful and alive, making the stay more enjoyable. Considering how close it is to Times Square and how nice it was, the hotel was very affordable and I would recommend to book here.

Great location- Bad service

The hotel has an amazing location- super close to Broadway theaters and Time Square. The room was good for the value considering the exorbitant hotel prizes in NYC. I stayed with my mom for 3 nights- we had to pay extra to get 2 twin beds instead of a queen bed which to me didn't make sense. I was very disappointed with the hotel service- we didn't get our room cleaned once during our 4 day stay! I put 2 claims to the Concierge but still we spent the whole stay without clean towels or beds made- unacceptable for a 4 start hotel.

Great location! Good place to rest and lay your head.

The rooms are very small but it's worth the stay. Location is great! People were friendly. Clean and modern. We literally were just there to sleep and for that it was great. You do get charged an amenities fee of $20 per day. When someone takes a shower, you hear a rather loud noise. But for the price and location, you can't beat it!

New York Experience

The hotel was very centrally located which was a plus and its was probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in.... BUT.... the room was far too small. I had upgraded to a city view but I wouldn't like to see the other rooms if ours was an upgrade room! There was no wardrobe - there was an alcove with a curtain over it, the hangers couldn't fit properly. There was a sliding door on the bathroom, although there was a bath! There were patches on the walls - not sure if they were damp seeping through from the bathroom or just dirt! The external noise was dreadful - I expected some of this as New York is a busy city but the first night was dreadful as the city was digging up the road outside our bedroom! We debated whether we should ask for another room and decided that it probably wasn't worth it as all the rooms would be that noisy. The air conditioning unit had a life of its own. We would turn it off but it was still come on and blow hot air into the room! Overall I couldn't recommend this hotel at all. We concluded that it was only 1 step up from a hostel.

Go elsewhere

I have stayed at several hotels in NYC over the last year and this is one that I will cross off of my list. Between my room not being ready on time, the security officer coming into my room without knocking and the waiting on average 8 minutes for an elevator - I will not be staying at this location again.
