Excellent location
Location could not be better. Staff very friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning to radio city suites in the future!

Traveling Janalog
Worked great for us.
We had a nice room with no view, but that was ok. Cute little kitchen and plenty of room in the bathroom. Nothing special but the location was great for going anywhere in Manhatten. Price was right for NYC as well. We'll definately stay there again.

I enjoyed this hotel. The room was comfortable, staff was attentive and seemed to enjoy helping me. I liked having a bellman at this price. Elevators are slow. I am impressed at having the elevator for handicapped at the front entrance. Wonderful restaurants just next door; this is a great area of town!

Excellent location - very close to everything - pricing was different to booking - about 30% higher - higher base rate plus several taxes

Very close to everything in Times Square - can walk to Empire state and Rockefeller Center etc - if you take bus sightseeing tours get off at sights as you go - over 2 hours circuit so saves time

Family stay in NYC
Great for families : this hotel is close to Time Square and to the Rockefeller Center so you can really walk to the main attractions in Manhattan. We had a two bedrooms appartment with a samm kitchen which was ideal for our family of 5. The only thing I have to complain about is the temperature in the room : way too high! And of course the price was really really high but this is NYC!

The location was great but there were long black hairs all over the blanket and bathroom. Not pleasant.

booking with O the hotel Radio city . was very hard to find due to the scaffolds that were all around the front entrance,They never said the place was under construction.then the lobby was in the middle of remodeling .there were holes everywhere in the walls and many ladders all over with maintenance man hanging around. when trying to check in they said the price i agreed on paying on the site did not include the tax of $175 dollars more then the agreed on price on orditz site. when making the booking on line i always ask for non -smoking. the hotels are always happy to know i am a non smoker. well the front desk asked for a $400 hundred dollar deposit for non smoking rooms. . which i was shocked.then a 150 dollar deposit for a smoking room..shocked again .when i showed i was upset with these new charges the front desk was rude and rolled there i eyes . as if this was something they deal with all the time.. i stayed at a 4 star hotel the week before the tax was included in the total online . and they asked for 100 dollar deposit for accidentals . this hotel was rated as 3 stars which should have been 11/2 or 2 stars.the room smelled like heavy pine.the tv was a big old w/no remote.the phone did not work in the room.no radio..no ac/or heat control in room.no ice machine. this had to be the worst hotel should be called a motel. i have ever been in.

perfect location, an old apartment house converted to suites hotel.
The location can not be any more central. On 49 st between 6 and 7th av. Close to times square, radio city, all theaters, restaurants etc. The problems started once arrived. There are multiple steps going up to the entrance. Originally no bell boy was there to help carry suitcases, eventually one materialized. We were upgraded to a suite which was great. The rooms are clean but old. The heating system does not work, so in order to regulate the heat one needs to open the windows... Found out we did not have any hot water around 10 pm, called for help. The person arrived shortly and fixed the problem. All staff personnel were exceptionally helpful and very nice to deal with. Check in and out were fast and efficient. I asked for delayed check out and was granted another hour (12 pm). They have GREAT towls, better then most hotels which was a nice surprise. The biggest problem is the ancient elevator. It goes wherever it wants...if you want down, it may take you up first and vice versa. It takes a while to get it. The stay was comfortable and satisfactory for the height of the season when it is very hard to find hotel deals. Lastly, we forgot to pack an orthopedic pillow and called same evening. Were instructed to call in the morning. They are still looking for it. Someone must enjoy it, but it is not us.

TKTS office is just on 47 and 7 which is a block and a half from the hotel. You by half price tickets there.

Great locale and fit 5 well
Hotel was one block from Times Square and very central to everything we wanted to do, both uptown and downtown. Seemed more like an apartment building than a hotel, which I think it had been. We had 5 adults and fit in nicely in a two bedroom suite, with a pull out sofa in the living room. Staff was very nice. Received validated discount parking nearby (made a big difference in price).
