Ok
Staff was not helpful and rude. Lobby was dank and sloppy. No computer room for printing boarding passes. No water pressure in shower. Concierge wouldnt even look up at me when I stood before her to buy Annie tickets. I ended up buying elsewhere. Room was clean, warm, average. Nothing special here. Wouldnt stay here again. Im sure there are Much better for the same price.

Perfectly Reasonable Hotel
We had a good time at this hotel. We stayed in our room most of the time while we were there and did not wander about the hotel much. The concierge directed us to Ray's for some good pizza. The room was clean, decently-sized and only a bit outdated.

Take the good with the bad.
When booking this hotel, I was very suprised by the size of the rooms shown in the picture. Fortunately, the pictures were not deceiving. We stayed in a standard room and there was no lack of space (especially by NYC standards!) The other positives were the price, although this might have been because we stayed on Christmas Eve and the amazing location; close, but not too close to the heart of Times Square. The drawback was the lobby. Tacky might be the best way to describe it. From Floor 2 to 22 the hotel is warm and classy, but everything below is almost embarrassing.

Perfectly fine place to stay
The hotel was clean, quaint, and in a good location by central park and the subway ... just far enough away from the crazy of time square. The only thing missing was a coffee pot in the room and FREE internet service, but I guess those amenities might come with an upgrade. I would definitely return.

Business Trip
Great location near Columbus Circle and central park. Many restaurants within walking distance. Very close to subway stops. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were generous in size. Would definitely stay here when in town again.

Great location
Great staff and check-in process. Didn't treat us any different because we booked through 3rd party/got a good price. Were able to check us in early. Sooo close to central park. I think they might be doing some work on the hotel because it was a mix of rusty brass light fixtures, then really nice sheets, then really nice lobby, then painters tape in the elevator hallway, etc. My only issues were the pillows - really soft, and only got three of them for a King bed so ONE of us got to prop their heads up to watch TV. Also, it was really warm in our room and the AC unit only produced heat. Our first clue should have been when we walked in and started sweating, even though they had left the window open (40 degrees outside in winter). That's another thing - we were on the 25th floor, and the window opens - no screen, bars, balcony, etc. So BE CAREFUL if you stay here with small children!!! We stayed at a swanky hotel in Times Square the other nights and were equally pleased with this placel, especially for the price! Would go back!
