Park Central New York

Decent room. A bit dated but clean enough. Location was great for a conference I was attending. Checking in and out was a hassle and the front desk staff were rude.

Its a nice hotel with great location , good for bussinesman who have to work nearby .

The hotel was ok, but definitely not a 4-star hotel. The location is prime, but I was not happy with the condition of the hotel, the room, or the service. The remote control to our TV was dirty as if something had been spilled on it prior to our arrival and for the 3 nights we were there no one came to clean the room. We called the front office the first and second night requesting house keeping but no one ever came, so we gave up since we were leaving the next day. There is also a construction going on next door so if you're staying during weekdays be ready to get up at 7am. There's nothing that could have been done about that, so I understand. I was just disappointed with the fact that there was no cleaning whatsoever done to our room during our stay. After a long day in the city it would have been nice to come to a freshly cleaned room. The only good things were the location and the price we paid for it, along with the free storage of bags. I'm sure there are better options in the area for the same price.

Great value for money, great location, staff members are nice. The only setback was the very loud noise from renovations in the 18/19th floor that I wasn't aware of. General Manager at least apologized and didn't charge for the internet usage during my stay (~$15/day). I'd stay at Park Central again, the price and location are really great, room is pretty decent and larger than W, Hilton and other hotels for which you'd pay at least 2x more per day.

The hotel is ideally located and has very pleasant and helpful staff. Unfortunately for my visit both the restaurant and the bar were closed for re furbishment thus my intended meetings and the very reason for my trip were taken elsewhere. The over all cleanliness was not good enough. The rooms were a little tired and cob webs were evident, no real care taken. Coffee was supposedly supplied but in my three rooms the maker and coffee were there but no creamers and sugar. At 7am I called down for some and was promised such immediately, it never arrived. The foyer area is extremely under lit and very very dull and un inviting, there is no where to sit to read and relax. A poor facility really. 2 star at best !

It locates very near to the south edge of the central park and very close to public transportation. The room is comfortable but could have been more comfortable by equipted with better view and sufficient daily supplies. The staffs are helpful but very few of them are impatient even rude. It seems the hotel is under renovation during my stay and some facilities are unavailable. In all, it worths the price.

The hotel was but the room was a bit hot and you can't control the heat. We opened the window and it was all good. Restaurant and bar are under renovation :(

Very clean nice hotel at a great spot. Only advice - do not accept the rooms near the gym because it is a 24 hr gym and noisy

Pros: The place is at a really good location, right next to the N,Q,R line station. A,C,E and 1,2,3 are three blocks away. Cons: 1. There is no free WiFi, they charge $14.95 for a day. This is not good for people who has to care about bussiness during travelling. I don't think I am the only one having this problem, a buch of people sitting next to the wall of Starbucks trying to get free wifi! 2. The bathtub is not big enough to fit two people. 3. Calling continental US using the phone in the room charges as well. 4. No free breakfast.
