Great location, recently updated. Still, rough around the edges. Our hotel room had poor internet reception even though we paid $14.95 for a one day fee. Bath products were not replenished, and we had to call to get some fresh supplies.

Anniversary Trip
We attended Broadway shows each day! Hotel was very conveinent, first room had mildew, but they changed the room to a much nicer and larger room, but had a smoking smell, even though non-smoking rooms. Housekeeping did come and spray and open windows which did help!

So-so
The hotel was in a great location, but our room wasn't. We were on the 5th floor facing the back of the hotel. The first night we stayed was a Saturday and our room faced the Dream Hotel's night club, which is apparently open until 4 am. A group of people were congregrating outside until that time and seemed to be screaming at the top of their lungs. In addition, garbage pick up lasted for over 2 hours each night at the back of the hotel. Also, do not take the hotel shuttle if you are in a hurry to get to the airport. It showed up 10 minutes late and it took us an hour and a half to get to the airport. Luckily, our flight was delayed so we didn't miss it.

Do not eat at Benash across the street. We stopped in for breakfast one day and the cheapest thing on the menu was cereal for $7.00! Needless to say, we went somewhere else.

i am a sucker
what a joke. 445$ a night. please. i have never written a review before, but this one i can not pass by. please consider another location. the room is extremely smelly. i was just in frankfurt and a holiday inn express was nicer than this place. a complete rip off for the amount of money per night. dont be fooled because its called park central. i was and i regret spending almost 900$ for 2 nights. RUN AWAY.

Lacklustre and dull
A dull, lacklustre place, overpriced for what you get - despite the great location. Most staff - with a couple of exceptions ( the concierge was great) were unfriendly and bored, and the room had a number of annoying faults: one of the bedside lamps didn't work; the soap dish in the bathroom had a cigarette burn in it while the soap was sitting in dirty paper; there was no mini bar and no tea/coffee making facilities; no extra douvet and no iron ( it had to be ordered through room service, at a cost). There seemed to be little communication between front desk and other parts of the organisation, leading to intrusive behaviour by staff - cleaning staff, who knocked on our door early in the morning, to check to see if we were leaving, and the house internet billing service ( we used the internet and had someone hammering on the door early in the morning to deliver the bill).

Managed to get a great rate here
Managed to get a great rate here at the last minute, the hotel is in a very good location - so close to Central Park and located just 2mins from times square. A nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of times square. Service was good and overall impression hotel was clean. Room small but that's standard for NYC. Would stay here again
