New York Marriott Downtown

This place was clean and plenty sweet.

The Marriot NY Downtown hotel in the middle of the financial district in South Manhattan is excellent. Walking distance from everything in the zone (Ground Zero, Wall St., Ferry Stations, Battery Park, and huge list). What wasn't nearby, metro stations and bus stops were also at walking distance. The staff were very helpful and very polite. The room had the perfect size for my family of four and since we were assigned a corner room in the 26th floor, the views were amazing. The only things to consider when staying at this hotel are: - Internet access is not free - There is no microwave oven in the room Should the above items be included, then prepare for the perfect experience (when you travel with kids). Other than that, I am very satisfied with the hotel.

The downtown marriot was outstanding. The room was good sized. We fit 2 adults a 14 year old and and an 11 year old in the room comfortably. There was a desk with a huge work area, a flat Screen TV and a comfortable chair to sit in. Despite all that we were not squeezed in this room. We also had a nice view of the Hudson River. we could see Ellis Island and New Jersey. The statue of Liberty was blocked by another building. The bathroom was also very large and up to date.

Upon entering The New York Marriott Downtown, I was very pleased with my choice! The hotel was vibrant, full of happenings and staff very courteous and pleasant. I had an 8:00 a.m. flight into NY and took cab directly to hotel to ask about getting luggage held since checkin time was 4:00p.m. To my surprise, I was able to checkin promptly, proceed to my room to check out my accomodations, and start my tour of the city immediately!! Room was large (2 beds), had separate lighted closet for hangup clothes, nice flat screen TV and drawer safe which was a nice surprise. Hotel has a very safe environment/location and concierges very helpful with directions and map to all attractions.

Great, clean, comfy room. Perfect location for all of my meetings.

perfect for a nyc visit - we had an awesome room and it was really clean, convenient, and the staff was outstanding.

I took my wife and 13 year old daughter to see the sights in New York. The Downtown New York Marriott is located in the business dist. From our room we had a view of the Hudson and the Jersey shore line. We could also see Ellis Island. It is a short 2 block walk to the number 1 train at Rector St. Station. It is about a 10 min. walk to South Sea Port, Staten Island ferry, and the Statue of Libirty boat dock. The room itself had a comfortable bed, large bath room and a fold out sofa. It was a great room, with a great view, in a great location, with the price being good for NYC.

The Marriott in the downtown financial district had a very friendly and helpful staff. The room was adequate in size. Our view was not a good one, but the staff was helpful. They went out of their way to tell us the subway stops and give us shopping tips.

The Downtown Marriott had everything you would need for a 4 day stay, it was very clean and comfortable, we all slept good at night. The staff were very helpful and willing to please. It is in a excellent location. We have already recommended it to a friend.

The Marriott Downtown in lower Manhattan proved a tp be a good value. It was maintained in good condition, and hotel staff were helpful. The location was within easy walking to World Trade Center site, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and Brooklyn Bridge. Easy access to several subway lines made access to Midtown Manhattan simple. Would not be a good location if you desired an active nightlife.
