Midtown Manhattan hotel with big rooms near Central Park, Times Square
The Hilton New York is an oasis of calm in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The rooms feature neutral, minimalist décor and are spacious and sophisticated. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, two full-service restaurants and a 24-hour fitness center. Large Generic hotel

Queen room very small but clean and adequate. Elevators extremely busy in morning, causing long waits. Breakfast over priced. Bathroom amenities were good. Midtown location is great for museums, park, theater and dinner.

Fantastic Location

Perfect location walk to almost anywhere you like to go in New York City. Management had provided a letter that our Floor was under Maintenance Contract and therefore they could not provide late checkout. However you could not feel any dirt, discomfort or feel any maintenance related issues.

Right in the middle of Manhattan

The hotel was definitely in a convenient location, with many subway stops all around. The hotel was clean and easily accessible. I would stay there again. The only thing I would say is that the front desk staff could have been friendler. After a long flight and taxi ride, a grouchy face is not the most pleasant welcoming.

Amenities Lacking

We were a little disappointed in the room amenities. There was a built in cabinet for the refrigerator/mini-bar, but nothing there. No coffee pot. Wireless phone didn't work. No sheets for the let out bed, when the hotel knew we booked for three people in the room. Also only enough towels for two. We called and the towels and linens were delivered, so the staff was great but there was a disconnect with management.

Spring Break

I can't say that it is perfect, but it was a great getaway for our Spring Break and we needed nothing more from our hosts at the Hotel.

Perfect MidTown Manhattan location. Convenient to Central Park, Times Square, Theater District, Subway access, etc. Weather was the only bugger to our Spring Break. Brrrr.

First Trip to NYC with kids

The hotel was what I was expecting but not anything more than that. It was a very basic room with decent space. I was happy with the location, but next time I will stay closer to more food places so I don't have to walk with the kids when it is dark out to get dinner. No coffee maker in the room.

Easy trip
