Perfect Location - Worth it for Price
Although it is a bit pricey for the quality you're getting, you have to realize that you're staying in a great location! Only a few minutes away from Grand Central in Manhattan is money! Stayed here for New Year's. The staff was VERY friendly. Hotel was great!

Great stay

we had great family getaway
i called to request a room with two beds-said they wernt sure.when we got there they had upgraded us to a 2br 2bath penthouse suite with an exterior brick patio!!the hotel is old but it was clean and in a nice area.i would stay there again

Nice stay
Stayed from July 3 - July 5. We had room 702 at the corner of the 7th floor. Good: View was nice. Suite was very big. Air conditioners worked great. Bed was large and comfy. The kitchen has everything you need: pots, pans, plates, bowls, knifes, spoons, forks, can opener, huge refrigerator, stove, water kettle, dish washer. TV has cable channels. Close walk to Grand Central and bus right outside on Lex. Convenient. Tiny gym in the basement, has 2 treadmills, 1 sitback bike, a set of weights, 1 stairmaster, and a larger machine .. like a home gym. Has cold water in the gym. I got a deal on this hotel ... $110/night (not including taxes). Bad: Pillows are very plump, ending up having to sleep with my head on the bed. There are only 2 elevators. When hotel is crowded, there is a wait for it. Also, the cleaning staff uses the same elevators for laundry so you might have to wait for the next elevator. Would stay again.

Go for it!
We had a 3 day girls time away in NYC starting on 7/4th. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was great - having a kitchenette was really nice. Parking was only 2 blocks away and discount given - $25 per 24 hrs - can't beat that in the city! Many restaurants and pubs close by and great grocery store. Subway 3 blocks away which was another convenience. Must go to lobby tho for free wireless - I just didn't bother! Would go back in a heartbeat...especially for the great price we paid

It's an apartment in NYC walking distance to time square and so much more
i never gave 5 stars before and this is not because this place is a palace but it's the best price I ever paid in NYC and has a living room area, dinning area sprate large bedroom and a separate kitchen, Amazing. Carpets and decor is dated but who cares given the price and it gave sprate sleeping areas fo me'n'my mom.

Convenient location
The front desk upgraded our room to a penthouse with a great view of the Empire State building. The location is very convenient to Grand Central and transit and the neighborhood is nice for walking. We enjoyed having a full kitchen. The rooms and furniture are dated but everything is clean and in good working order. Easy check in and check out.

Location is great, only two block from grand central station, and all traffic, easy to find resturant for different style food, staff is helpful and good service sure will return to stay next time

VERY spacious for NYC. Great location. Helpful staff. We will book here again and take advantage of the theater offers. Only negatives: the furnishings were worn, (but clean), and the facade was under renovation. Am recommending to friends coming from Ireland for a week in the city.
