comfortable accommodation
Not the newest hotel I have ever been to but comfortable enough. I knew that the wifi in the rooms was not free in the rooms when I booked but was free in the quite small lobby area. I would recommend to the hotel that they include the wifi in the rooms even if this increases the hotel rate by $7 per night. If you are booking a hotel in New York no one is likely to notice this small increase. If asked about what was in the area the staff were knowledgable. I would have thought that they could take it upon themselves to mention that there was for example a large supermarket not far away and reliable laundry services close by. Given these are self catering apartments, I would have thought that most patrons would appreciate.

its appearance is somewhat dated, its location is very central, friendly staff, the kitchenette is a plus. helps you to save on some breakfast and dinner, if the journey is long as I did. Sure i will stay at this hotel again.

Perfect for the price
It's obvious this used to be an apartment complex with rooms as large as a one-bedroom apartment. My room had a full kitchen w/ fridge, stove, cabinets, a family room, 2 TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the family room) and a full closet. For the price I paid, it was certainly more space than I expected. The room had a smell though and the shower was a little like taking a shower at my grandmom's. Definitely a great place if you just need a cheap place to crash in NYC for the night.

Good Hotel, a bit dated.
We book a Jr. Suite as we have a family with 2 kids. Space was good, for NYC standards. Location is very good and Staff is helpful. The hotel is clean and Housekeeping is good. Only issue is that hotel is old and in need of some refurbishing. We had a small kitchennette that was not very inviting, as it was old and dark.

First trip to New York
We booked for price and got much more. The staff was GREAT. Thr suite was more than enough space. The kitchen was wonderful. We could walk and site see with no problems. Times square was just a short walk and we enjoyed the sites o the way. LOL the food in Harlem was Great...but go early the cabs were hard to find after a late dinner, but ask the host and they will point out a towncar for you.

New York Getaway
The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and we really enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite. It was great that we didn't have to sit on the bed all of the time. The location was fine, but it was a little involved to get to the other side of town. We would recomend it to anyone planning on a trip to NYC!

Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to get to anywhere. If you take a taxi you will be fine, but the subway does take a while.
