Millennium Broadway Hotel - Times Square

I have stayed here before, and have always been happy. However, I was disappointed at the expensive breakfast buffet, which included average food at best, and the expensive room service, after which I was nauseated for an hour.

Check in was a breeze other than requested smoking room 3 months ago when we booked it and there were none available. I even called the day before arrival to double check but they were rude and said they could not guarantee it. Our room was on the 27th floor. Walls were all scuffed, light over the vanity worked some of the time if you pounded the wall above the light switch. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so when one person was in the shower the mirror steamed up which made it hard for 2 people to get ready at the same time. The faucet and shower head are loose and about to fall off. Mini bar was nice but there was no pricing in the room. We paid a pretty penny to stay here and when we sat in the couch area outside of restaurant to meet the rest of our group we were told we had to order something or get up. The bell men were awesome. Always ready to help with bags and arrange transportation. Location is perfect but will look at other hotels in the area before booking this one again. We attended 2 plays. Buy your ticktes away from hotel. We paid $219 each at hotel and when we picked up our tix the face value was $147,

The hotel was a good value for the money and location in NYC. The staff were courteous and helpful and the location was in the heart of the theatre district and within walking distance to many sights and good restaurants. The beds and pillows were too firm for me, but that would be the only complaint.

The location is second to none. You will pay a hefty price for that location, though. There are really no amenities for what you are paying. The staff was great.

The Millennium Broadway Hotel is an awesome central location to do all the touristy things in New York. The bellman will be glad to get a taxi for you, or the 42nd St. subway station in Times Square is a quick walk away. So getting to anywhere in the city is very easy. There is a deli right across the street from the hotel with all kinds of food (from grab and go sandwiches and breakfast items to a full buffet with TONS of meal options). You won't starve that is for sure. The staff was very helpful at recommending directions as well as restaurant suggestions. If I go back to New York, which I plan to do, I will stay here again.

Upon entering room noticed papers behind dresser,in the morning had coffee in the room. Left room for the day, came back after room was cleaned, papers were still behind dresser and coffee cups and napkins were not cleaned up. Left for the evening told front desk about condition of room, he said he would have it cleaned up right away. Came back that evening room was not cleaned up.
