The only place we'll stay in NYC

This hotel is in the perfect location - just off Times Square - close enough to be at the center of everything, but just far enough off the square to escape the noise and crowds! In the heart of theatre row, next to a subway station, 2 blocks from the Port Authority bus terminal with express airport buses every 15 minutes, the kindest and most helpful staff, clean rooms with very comfortable beds, premium , freshly cleaned linens, very helpful and knowledgeable concierges and lively lounge with nice small bites for a pre-theatre snack! We'll be back - as soon as possible!

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

For those who don't use the subway in New York, you should! $11 per day gets you a day pass which allows 4 changes on the subway. You can get from Central Park North to the South Ferry in 15-20 minutes. One end to the other quickly, safely and efficiently. Why waste value vacation time or money getting from one place to the next. Take the subway, emerge from the station and embark on a new adventure! In addition to the efficiency, the hustle and bustle and entertainment in the stations were a highlight on our trip!

Below expextations

First night we couldn't sleep since hotel sits on a subway and we were given forth floor. Imagine a train passing every five minutes from your bedroom door . Next day we were promised to move a quiet room and were told room will be ready by noon. Surprise!!!! around 7:00 pm our room was still not ready. We waited for room and finally got it however it took them more than half an hour to deliver our luggages .

New york getaway

We had two rooms. My husband upgraded for our room and we did have an okay view but the other room overlooked rooftops. There wasn't a comfortable seat in our room, just a bench. Some tv channels did not have good reception. Had lots of trouble with our room keys, especially in the elevator. Don't mean to sound like it wasn't good. it was a fine hotel.

Great location, comfortable room

A little pricey, but it's NYC. Right in the heart of the theater district, near Times Square, so easy walking distance to many New York sites. Room and beds were very comfortable, quiet, and nice.
