Great for Business on the West Side
A great hotel on the west side, it offers subtle luxury in a contemporary environment. I stay there every year and keep going back! The rooftop bar is a can;t miss.

Amazing Room in NYC
A hidden gem in the city. I used to live in NYC but I would stay at the Kimpton anytime...this place is fabulous in terms of the rooms and the amenities and location. Staff could be a little quicker to help and the room service was the least flexible I've seen in awhile. That said, fabulous and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Cool Place!
Ink 48 was a really neat place to stay. I only stayed one night but would recommend it. The views were amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful. The prices were a little steep but it's Manhattan, no getting around that. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the noise in the morning outside of the hotel. I know the hotel can not do anything about that but it was not fun waking up to honking horns and construction. I would stay here again.

Ink48 write this one down as Excellent
If first impressions set the stage than what a nice show . The front desk staff was friendly, accomodating and personable about our needs. We we're in NYC to checkout college's for my son and the staff seemed interested and offered some wonderful suggestions college information and ideas. Rooms are comfortable, simple decor while being warm and inviting. 1 block from the Intrepid , 3 blocks from Times Square. Quiet, peaceful accomodations

Nothing "spotty" about Ink 48
Everything about Ink 48 met or exceeded my expectations. As with most Kimpton properties, from the Happy Hour to the front desk everything was top-notch! The ONLY drawback was a very curt and pretentious woman who was serving the wine at happy hour. She was new, so I gave her a pass.

Since you're on 11th Avenue, it allows easy travel downtown mid-town or uptown! A quick walk brings you into Hells Kitchen for some great restaurants and shops!

The hotel was in a great location! Beautiful building, friendly staff and accommodating service. I was there for business and they made my hectic weekend much more manageable! I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

While some may hate that the hotel was "out of the way" in a commercial area but we loved that it was away from the tourist Times Square and yet only 4 blocks away! We loved the local merchants rather than the tourist merchants. A wonderfully modern, quiet, attractive, neat and clean hotel with top service.

Great staff, drab location
This hotel is brand new, and some things are not yet finished. as a result there was still construction going on. That was not disruptive and the staff couldn't be nicer, accomodating and attentive. However, there was no restaurant and there are no real eateries in the area of any sort. The few cold items they have at room service are really a joke and not worth the money or wait. the hotel is surrounded by car dealerships; not the most exciting area for a visitor, nor the most comforting to walk through at night as it's rather desolate. Given the lack of amenities, I think the hotel is a bit overpriced.
