Overrated
I was there for Valentine's Day weekend with my spouse and although the hotel is aesthetically pleasing. When we arrived in our room the cable on the television didn't work and this was not the only occurrence of this during our stay. There were lots of lights in the room that also did not work during our stay. The first night we were there we called the concierge service and requested ice that took thirty minutes and two phone calls to get to our room. This didn't compare very well to other Kimpton Hotels around the country that I have stayed i.

Nothing "spotty" about Ink 48
Everything about Ink 48 met or exceeded my expectations. As with most Kimpton properties, from the Happy Hour to the front desk everything was top-notch! The ONLY drawback was a very curt and pretentious woman who was serving the wine at happy hour. She was new, so I gave her a pass.

Since you're on 11th Avenue, it allows easy travel downtown mid-town or uptown! A quick walk brings you into Hells Kitchen for some great restaurants and shops!

Fantastic Weekend in NYC
Excellent experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel really went out of their way to make it special for us. They had a welcome bottle of wine waiting for us in the room and even upgraded us to city view room. Everyone there was very helpful ... this is definitely our "go to" hotel when traveling to NYC in the future!

Amazing stay
We had an amazing getaway in NYC and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Very trendy, hip, young crowd. No kids and no elderly. Free wine hour! And spacious rooms with an amazing view! Will definitely return!

Very good hotel
One of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. We were upgraded to a city view room and it was amazing. Very cloase to the action, only about 10 min walk from time square. The staff were great. The only think that i did notnlik was that there was no fridge. But other then that everythin was perfect. I would recommend this hotel or your next trip to NYC.

The hotel was in a great location! Beautiful building, friendly staff and accommodating service. I was there for business and they made my hectic weekend much more manageable! I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

Dramatic Night Skyline view
Close to avant garde restaurants on 9th Avenue (the old Hell's Kitchen) and walking distance to B'way. Great bar with view of midtown NYC (midtown's not your grandmother's town anymore). Could use a few more bell men, but the ones that are there now like Jesus, make you feel just like you lived in a Manhattan highrise with a doorman who knows your name.

Can't wait to go back!
It was honestly one of the best all-round hotels we've stayed at. The staff was friendly, helpful and sincerly attentive. The rooms were exactly as portrayed in the photos and the bed was more comfortable than ours at home which is saying a lot! The restaurant, although pricey like most hotel restaurants, was also five star in food and service. The location was perfect as we're the type who'd rather be away from the main-stream tourist areas.. but was only a 10-15min walk to Times Square so ideal for us. Will definitely be booking there again next time back to NY.
