Midtown hotel awash in whimsical luxury near Central Park
Uber-modern design, whimsical touches and luxurious amenities are all rolled into the Hudson hotel near the Time Warner Center and Central Park. A glowing, yellow escalator greets guests and transports them to the lobby, with its 40-foot, ivy-covered ceiling. - We are delighted to announce that we will be re-concepting our Hudson Cafeteria restaurant to create a new and exciting food venue, opening late Spring. As a result, Cafeteria will be closed from Oct. 21st on. In the interim, we will be offering a full hot breakfast buffet in Hudson Bar from 6:30 - 11am Monday - Friday and 7am - 11am, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we will also be offering limited food in Library Bar from 11am – 10pm 7 days a week. Room Service will continue to operate as normal throughout this concept change. We thank you for the understanding while we work through this transition and look forward to offering you a complete new food venue in late Spring.

Clean with Good Products
The room at the Hudson Hotel, although small, was very clean. There was excellent water pressure in the shower and they have co bigelow products! They have a great outside roof deck, although its very crowded and loud. However you are just a block from the Shops at Columbus Circle (which has every store including a large Whole Foods) and Central Park!

Quality staff, cool digs
A good location just a few blocks from Central Park. An unreasonably friendly and helpful staff will def go the extra mile (I mentioned I was in for a job interview and w/o asking they found me the quietest room they could). Room is small but, hey, it's NYC. Personally, I prefer lower Manhattan but if you want to hob knob with the swells and be close to the Park/Times Square you will not have a bad stay here.

Great Location, Great Public Spaces, Small Rooms, But Worth It
The location, staff friendliness, and fun doesn't get any better. The only downside is the small rooms. But if you're a solo traveler, that doesn't matter.

For inexensive, awesome ethnic dining, walk west to Ninth Ave. instead of East toward Seventh and Broadway and the more expensive restaurants.

Really cool vibe- perfect for travelers in 20's & early 30's. Friendly staff and great location right by Columbus Circle and Central Park. Only downside was a clanking noise that kept coming from the heater so I didn't get the best sleep. Would still recommend, especially if you are in the city to party.

I Am A Passenger
Best Hotel for the Price
If you are looking for a massive suite well, don't go to NY. Yes the rooms are small, but having been to NY about 20 times, room size is not the most important thing and this hotel covers the more important bases. Most importantly it's very clean and doesn't smell like there is a body buried under the floor boards. May sound silly, but at least half of the places I have stayed in NY smell like they were wallpapered with dirty diapers. Staff is super nice and decor is really cool. This is my new "go to".

Great location, ok rooms
The rooms are small, as I was expecting, but it's very much OK. Location is great and overall the hotel is very pleasant. Kitchen is being renovated so no room service right now, should be back soon.

Great location!
I loved the hotel location and its cool look and atmosphere but unfortunately the comfort and room size were not quite pleasant. Though, I enjoyed staying at the hotel.

Great location, small room
The location is great. Staff is very friendly. Good bar scene. Rooms are tiny. If you can handle a room you can barely turnaround in, then it's ok.

Great for Fashion Week in NYC....
Stayed at the HUDSON for 12 days and the location couldn't have been better - it's centrally located and just a couple blocks from Lincoln Center which was a prime concern for me. Also, there are plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops in the area and just a few blocks north on Columbus and Amsterdam Ave. The views from the corner room of the Hudson River and southern Manhattan were spectacular. Looking forward to staying here again next Fashion Week!

The Chicken Enchilada Mole at Rosa Mexicano is amazing - just a couple blocks away! And it's worth walking up Columbus Ave to go to Bomboloni for Cappuccino and italian pastries.
