Midtown hotel awash in whimsical luxury near Central Park
Uber-modern design, whimsical touches and luxurious amenities are all rolled into the Hudson hotel near the Time Warner Center and Central Park. A glowing, yellow escalator greets guests and transports them to the lobby, with its 40-foot, ivy-covered ceiling. - We are delighted to announce that we will be re-concepting our Hudson Cafeteria restaurant to create a new and exciting food venue, opening late Spring. As a result, Cafeteria will be closed from Oct. 21st on. In the interim, we will be offering a full hot breakfast buffet in Hudson Bar from 6:30 - 11am Monday - Friday and 7am - 11am, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we will also be offering limited food in Library Bar from 11am 10pm 7 days a week. Room Service will continue to operate as normal throughout this concept change. We thank you for the understanding while we work through this transition and look forward to offering you a complete new food venue in late Spring.

The Hudson
Great location in town but the reception staff is not the most friendly. Also you can't het wiFi in your room -this reduces the utility of the hotel. The rooms are quite small but functional and clean. Corner rooms that have two windows suffer from a lot of street noise.

Horrible Hotel- Do Not Stay HERE- DEF NOT 4 STARS
Hotel was horrible- room was the size of a closet- absolutely no room to move around or even have a suitcase open- No room service- no mini bar- no bar service to the room- they didn't even have any cups in the room -- rooms have single pane windows so all you hear is nyc noise all night long- This hotel was supposed to be 4 stars and it should be 1 star IF that.. staff was rude, rooms were TINY and there are no amenities whatsoever! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY~~ sleeping in your car would be better

Great location!
I loved the hotel location and its cool look and atmosphere but unfortunately the comfort and room size were not quite pleasant. Though, I enjoyed staying at the hotel.

Small Room
This is the only thing i didn´t like. I know this is how things are in MYC but the size of the bathroom was really an issue. Tehe rest of the expereience was grea.

Very Clean, Good Location, Fully recommend
Great location close to central park & subway. The rooms were very clean the staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast is over priced but the hotel is surrounded by little cafes that are better value there is vending machines & ice available on all floors. There is free wi fi & a business centre where you can print your boarding passes. There is a concierge desk but there are no leaflets on local attractions. The rooms are small but average for nyc & air conditioned there is traffic noise but thats expected. Its located in Hells Kitchen area which has some stigma attached but really its very safe even walking at night. 5 stars :)))

Canal Street is a $10 taxi fare from hotel, the street is great for replica handbags cheap souvenirs etc. Be warned though to buy the real good replica handbags you will be led into a back room or the back of van to complete transaction and remember to bargain. Enjoy NYC

Great location, small room
The location is great. Staff is very friendly. Good bar scene. Rooms are tiny. If you can handle a room you can barely turnaround in, then it's ok.

Perfect location
Very good time, one block to central park, Super decoration & ideas of architecture. Invaluable central terraces. It was a shame there were not a cafe or any place to eat. I will recommend to my friends. Room very small but very interested it space disposition and the ideas of function
