Midtown hotel awash in whimsical luxury near Central Park
Uber-modern design, whimsical touches and luxurious amenities are all rolled into the Hudson hotel near the Time Warner Center and Central Park. A glowing, yellow escalator greets guests and transports them to the lobby, with its 40-foot, ivy-covered ceiling. - We are delighted to announce that we will be re-concepting our Hudson Cafeteria restaurant to create a new and exciting food venue, opening late Spring. As a result, Cafeteria will be closed from Oct. 21st on. In the interim, we will be offering a full hot breakfast buffet in Hudson Bar from 6:30 - 11am Monday - Friday and 7am - 11am, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we will also be offering limited food in Library Bar from 11am – 10pm 7 days a week. Room Service will continue to operate as normal throughout this concept change. We thank you for the understanding while we work through this transition and look forward to offering you a complete new food venue in late Spring.

"Beautiful hotel and people"
I had stayed at the Hudson before and loved it, but this time I took my girls who were coming back from summer camp. We had an awesome time. My teenagers loved the hotel! They thought they were going to find a famous person there! Perfect to go with teenegers

Great price, great location,
The location of Hudson can't be beat; easy walking distance to Lincoln Center for Midsummer Night Swing, Theaters (Cage Aux Folles), Central Park for jogging, Time Warner Center where I was fitted for the best pair of running shoes I've ever owned. We had a difficult check-in, the 177 SF room queen bed type we reserved would not be available until the next day. We were offered a smaller room with a double bed(144SF) for two full grown adults and one free breakfast for the hassle of having to pack up and move the next day. We asked if there was another type room that had a queen bed. Of course, but that would cost us $30 extra per night. We asked to speak to a manager and after a bit more haggling the correct room appeared. The correct room was unbelievably small, it had a generous closet area that surely was included in the SF quoted. Maybe we got a smaller room after all, but it took so long to get the room we just sucked it up.

Hudson--Pretty good.
I was worried at first...it being my first time in New York. However, it was great. Everything was either in walking distance or you could get there easily from the hotel location by subway. And as had been mentioned in other reviews, there's a Whole Foods that's 24 hours. But there are a lot of 24 hour places around the area. Staff was very helpful..as was the doorman that are there during the day. And lobby is always kicking at night in case you don't want to go out but don't really want to stay in.

Nice room interior, but rooms
Nice room interior, but rooms are rediculously small....more a cell than a room actually! The roof terrace is a fantastic feature...great space

GOOD HOTEL!
This is a great hotel if you are in NYC for a good time! The bars in the hotel are very cool and hip. The rooms are VERY small but clean, comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot (which in NYC hotels isnt always!) I travel alot to NYC if you can deal with a small room this place is great.

Hudson Hotel
The hotel is very affordable for its location. It has a hip feel to it. The lobby offers the library hotel bar which is very comfortable. While the rooms are small, they are clean and comfortable.

This is an overpriced,dirty, noisy hotel. The rooms were very,very small, not enough room to keep the luggage, very small bathrooms. The hall ways were dark, smelly. I do not think that this hotel will pass a franchise inspection.I would try to avoid going to this hotel
