Midtown hotel awash in whimsical luxury near Central Park
Uber-modern design, whimsical touches and luxurious amenities are all rolled into the Hudson hotel near the Time Warner Center and Central Park. A glowing, yellow escalator greets guests and transports them to the lobby, with its 40-foot, ivy-covered ceiling. - We are delighted to announce that we will be re-concepting our Hudson Cafeteria restaurant to create a new and exciting food venue, opening late Spring. As a result, Cafeteria will be closed from Oct. 21st on. In the interim, we will be offering a full hot breakfast buffet in Hudson Bar from 6:30 - 11am Monday - Friday and 7am - 11am, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we will also be offering limited food in Library Bar from 11am 10pm 7 days a week. Room Service will continue to operate as normal throughout this concept change. We thank you for the understanding while we work through this transition and look forward to offering you a complete new food venue in late Spring.

Good value for what we paid
We enjoyed our 4 nights here and felt it was value for money as we only paid £100 per night per room. The lack of breakfast was a shame but there are plenty of local diners. There is free coffee available in the lobby but we only found out by chance on the last morning. All they need to do is sell some pastries which will make more money and make customers happy. Yes the room was small but at that price we couldn't complain. The first night there was a loud DJ playing in the central outside bar which all the bedrooms look onto so it was very noisy. Luckily the weather was too cold the other nights of our stay so the outside bar was empty so no DJs. The corridors and walkways were a bit tatty and our room wasn't that clean. The roof bar had great views and was nicely done out so we enjoyed a beer on arrival in the afternoon. It wasn't cold and it cost $9 each so be warned!

Clean with Good Products
The room at the Hudson Hotel, although small, was very clean. There was excellent water pressure in the shower and they have co bigelow products! They have a great outside roof deck, although its very crowded and loud. However you are just a block from the Shops at Columbus Circle (which has every store including a large Whole Foods) and Central Park!

Fantastic Room for relaxing after busy and hectic day.
From the moment of check in there was the apparent effort to provide the best service possible; from the choice of rooms to my personal concern of staying within my budget. The staff etc. were there for personal needs or unexpected urgency and always with a smile. The rooms were uniquely fashioned in a modern minimalist style and offered a look of heavenly aura with its all white walls and fabric with the chrome accents and dark wood floors. When in the room it was like resting on a cloud. I would go back. The location was exactly as needed in relation to my destinations in the city and the airport.

Wonderful experience at the Hudson
Wow...I want to live here...it was our first time at the Hudson and we will be back! Very upscale...trendy, hip and comfortable. The staff was amazing-our room a dream. Beautiful spaces, excellent location! Highly recommended!!!

Hudson hotel
This was the perfect hotel for us at the perfect location and a great price. We loved the relaxed Moroccan feel of the lobby and outside terrace. The rooms were very small but that's what you get in NYC. They were designed beautifully for such a compact space. Definitely more than we expected!

Chai Thai Kitchen at 930 8th ave. Just happened to walk by this tiny little restaurant late night and was amazed by the excellent food and price. $58 for 1 app, 2 entrees and a bottle of Pinot Grigio that wasn't half bad for cheap wine!

Close to everything you need.
I've stayed at the Hudson three times. It's really my hotel of choice. It's clean and close to everything. Being a block from Central Park is the best! And near all the different subway lines makes it easy to get around NYC from the hotel. And of course I love the pleasant outdoor spaces at the hotel itself.

Loved being at the Hudson
Staff went the extra mile, very accommodating. Room, although small, felt good to be in. Lobby and outdoor heated bar area so well decorated! I kept finding places I just wanted to "be" in.
