Great place and great price!
very comfy, firm mattress...perfect location if you need to stay in times square and near the theatres, very nice decor of both room and overall hotel, this place is a hidden gem!!

Fantastic hotel great location
Fantastic hotel in a great location just off Time Square and convenient for all the main destinations in New York. We didn't eat at the restaurant next door which is attached to the hotel, as there are so many good options on your doorstep but it looked pretty good from outside. Rooms in New York like most big cities don't tend to be huge. We opted for de luxe which was ok for size but the standard double was definitely compact. That said, everything in it was good quality and modern, same for the bathroom. Cleanliness was excellent on arrival and was kept so via room service every day. Staff were always polite and friendly, very helpful for travel advice and directions. We would definitely stay here again, good value, great location and great hotel

Italian restaurant couple of doors away was good, French restaurant across the road had a great selection of Belgian beers so was good for sitting at the bar and soaking in the atmosphere.

Great Vacation for the husband and me!
Love the location, that's why we go back to this hotel every time we visit nyc. Very clean, comfortable. I will always book this hotel every time we visit the city! Never brought the kids here, not sure if this is the best hotel at being kid-friendly, but love staying here with just me and the husband!

Stayed 4 times, will come bace for a 5th
The staff....extraoridinary. Jonathan, Anna, JP, Jed, Rose, Arturo - Nobody does it better. Next year will be our fifth year in a row. So convenient, small rooms but well appointed and comfortable. Service above and beyond. I will never stay in a chain again. Whether we went to the Opera, the Village, The Cloisters or Brooklyn, the location makes it easy to access transportation. Try the Passion Fruit Sorbet next door ....hmmm,hmmm good!

Cool Boutique, even Cooler Location!
The staff were exceptional, before during and after the stay. The rooms were generous, great value and very clean. The location couldn't have been better, 2 mins from Times Squares, with bars and cafes to suit all tastes. Thanks to John, John Paul and Danny for all your help!!

Cafe Un Duex Trois right opposite did great breakfast options. The Long Room next door was a great Irish Bar, good service and snacks.

Ideal Location
Hotel Mela is definitely a must when travelling to New York, not only are you less than a 5 minute walk to Times Square,it is also in walking distance of 5th Ave too. The rooms are spotless and so comfortable, home from home. Highly recommend people to stay in this hotel.

Great location. Great service.
The location was perfect and the customer service provided by the staff was excellent. While my room was small it was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was the wi-fi was extremely slow (was only important because I was on a business trip). Overall my experience was fantastic and I would definitely stay here again.
