Great for business
This hotel is perfect for NY. Centrally located and accessible, I had access to everything I needed. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice stay in NY.

Poor Customer Service
I sought refuge at this hotel during Superstorm Sandy for 2 days. The manager refused to apply the corporate discount rate or any Priority Member Rewards. I contacted Holiday Inn and they said someone would contact me with 48 hrs. That was 3 wks ago. There are many nice hotels in the area with great rooms and prices so why stay at one that takes advantage of it's customers.

Senior Sabbatical
2 Octogenerians on a 5day revisit to old haunts. Hotel was off the beaten path, but close to bus lines and taxis, making it quite easy to get to midtown and uptown. The room was small, but very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was convenient' the food very good. Every member of the staff that we had any dealings with was pleasant and helpful and several went out of their way to serve our needs. Both my wife and I would stay here again on a future trip.

good business location at an excellent price
Room is totally remodeled and bathroom is 5-star. New flat screen, comfortable bed and very clean. Even the rug is clean as compared to most Holiday Inn, Recommend it for less than $130.

Great location... and quiet!
My family of four stayed at this hotel late last week. The staff was great, the room small but comfortable (who's in NYC for the room anyway?), we didnt listen to sirens and horns all night and the subway was close by. Would definitely stay here again!

Great value
The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was great value for the money. One huge selling point is the hotel,s small size. Unlike the big tourist hotels like the Pennsylvania or Marriott marquis, the holiday inn is relatively small, so ther,s never a wait at the front desk. The elevators come immediately and the rooms are grouped in a small pods around the elevator, so you,re not traipsing down endless corridors. Ther,s a decent restaurant in the lobby, and the hotel is in walking distance of penn station. I will definitely stay here again, as the price was excellent.

Comfortable stay in NY
A very nice hotel with all amenities and great location. I strongly recommend it to anyone or small groups. Reasonable parking is available at Central Parking Garage, 32nd Ave, less than one minute walk to the hotel - e.g.,$30 for 24 hours. The staff at the hotel is extremely nice and helpful. I recommend it highly.

Hidden Gem in midtown
Don't know why i would stay at the old and run down hotels in time square. This is a great find.

Midtown experience
This hotel had great comfortable beds and wonderful blackout curtains; would have preferred an minibar though. Also, more counter space in the bathroom would have been nice; close to subway stations was a plus! Overall a great value.
