Midtown hotel with family-friendly amenities near Central Park
This Holiday Inn is located in west Midtown and boasts amenities not always found in New York three-star hotels. Guests have access to a concierge service, fitness center and outdoor pool open seasonally. The Kids Eat Free program provides complimentary meals at the on-site Gotham Cafe to kids under 12 years old. The hotel is just blocks from Central Park and Lincoln Center and a short walk to Broadway.

Good price for OK location
Was in town for a party and needed to be close by friends apartment. The hotel was perfectly cleaned and fine enough for what we needed, a place to crash. If you need some place with greater amenities this may not be it, but we found it was fine.

Good Manhattan location
Hotel is a $10.00 cab ride (including tip) from all the sites we went to. Windows only have shears on them so it is difficult to sleep past sunrise. Always felt safe in this residential location. Jake's bar about a half a block away is very reasonable for Manhattan.

Long walk from hotel
South Side Sea Port is worth a couple of hours. More than "I Love NY" stuff offered here. Reasonable resturants also.

Concierge made the entire stay!
Great location, right next to H Kitchen. The staff was super friendly and helpful. AMAZING concierge!!! Domingo was soo nice and answered any and all questions, booked car service and event tickets, provided above and beyond customer service with a delightful demeanor!

H Kitchen has some of the best restaurants in the city. Becco was amazing italian food, but a little pricey. Room Service was great for Thai food.

3 days in NYC
Location close to subway and central park. Employee at the information desk gave us some great ideas of things to do with young children. He was very helpful with directions and how to get around the area.

Great value hotel
Ok. Lots of bad reviews of this hotel and I do not understand it. Yes, it may be noisy and old but what hotel in NYC isnt? I paid very little for this hotel compared to the other three start hotels in the same area. I have a thing about bugs so I stripped the room down to make sure there were no bed bugs. I didnt find anything. Not even a dead cockroach. The bathrooms is small and there is some rust. The bathroom vent was not working so it did get stuffy in the room. However, the room was clean and the amenities were great. The AC in the hotel was not working so it was a little difficult to sleep at night. We were not in the room for much so it wasn't a big deal. I would call in the summer time to make sure the ac is working. The staff was friendly enough. The desk clerk checked me in at 6 in the morning with no argument. I greatly appreciated this! If you have 200 dollars to spend a night then by all means you should stay at a better property. Why wouldn't you? This is a hotel that is cost friendly. I would have put up with many inconveniences in this hotel because of the room rate. When you go to a place like NYC you have to know the cost and worth of hotel rooms. This room is worth its cost. Its a three star hotel in NYC and I don't think any of the others are better then this one. The locations is perfect and really how much time do you spend in a hotel room in NYC? I would stay again.

I love NY
The hotel was so conveniently located to restaurants, train station entrance and attractions. Got an incredible deal $250 for 4 nights in NY. Hotel was nice and were making improvements to rooms .
