Safe convenient location with friendly service
Very convenient to several subway lines and an easy walk to nearby restaurants and sites (Flatiron Bldg., Madison Square Park's Farragut statue). We enjoyed an affordable dinner at the hotel-recommended Malibu Diner and spent time browsing the Garden of Eden gourmet shop.

Girl's Weekend
This hotel was in a great location and was reasonably priced for NYC. The continental breakfast and free WIFI were great bonuses that most higher priced hotels in the area don't offer. Plus the room was incredibly clean and hotel staff were (for the most part) very welcoming. The downfalls of the stay were: 1. Advertising rooms come with microwave and mini frig as these are not standard in most rooms. 2. Also, in booking, there is an option of requesting a roll-away bed. Rooms do not meet fire codes with roll-away beds so this option is actually not available for any of their rooms. So even after requesting both of the above amenities in booking and confirming with a phone call to the front desk a week before, neither were provided during our stay without so much as an apology. All in all I would stay here again for its location and cleanliness.

Second stay. Would do again.
Small but well run. Location excellent for multiple subway lines. Interesting neighborhood. Small workout room has high-end machines, water, towels even disposable earbuds. Usual upgraded self-serve breakfast one finds in Hampton Inn. Good task lighting in room and bath. Bed and bath decent size for moderate priced room in NYC.

Location, service, amenities top notch
Excellent access to several subway lines but fairly quiet street. Friendly helpful staff, nice amenities- e.g. exercise room, breakfast, free internet. Reasonable size room for NYC, well-equiipped and maintained. If there for pleasure, head east from hotel to Madison Sq Park, Eataly (you'll think you are in a European market) and other shopping and restaurants. Head south down Broadway fr there to Union Sq, But hotel also only 1 mile s of TImes Sq. Small lobby but includes several terminals and printer for guest use.

Great place to stay!
My room was super perfectly clean, including the duvet cover. The breakfast was delicious and so was the afternoon cookies made available. The location was great and was a quick 15 minute walk to the Empire State building. I would most definitely stay here again.

Very good value, location good for us
Everything was better than expected since the price was more than reasonable for NYC standards. Breakfast a definite plus, surprisingly easy considering how many people were in the hotel. Will return!

Would definitely return
We were not looking for a lot of amenities like a pool or work out room, just a room and breakfast so this hotel was perfect. Location was great for us, two subway stops to 42nd street, good central location. Definitely recommend and we will return on our next trip to NYC. Only two elevators so can have a wait if on upper floors but we were on lower floor and used stairs in the morning when elevators were most busy.

Great Location in a Great City
Most of the staff were great to work with though one person was a bit surly when our key cards stopped working, we only asked for a bottle of water as compensation. The location could not get any better for getting to Brooklyn, downtown or uptown. There are at least 7 train lines with in 6 blocks. Room was comfy and big enough for the two of us. Breakfast is average, if you are trying save money by not eating out you could do worse.
