Not bad
The hotel itself is new and not bad but there are some odd things that they chose to do. For example, they don't have any vending machines to buy anything so if you're thirsty...walk somewhere? Also, the bathroom door doesn't lock and just kinda slides. That bit makes it not private at all and can be uncomfortable if you're not staying with someone you're totally comfortable with. The location was fine, all of NY has some shady bits so it can't be totally avoided and the beds were comfortable/room was clean
