- The residentially-appointed One-bedroom Suite measures at least 775 square feet. The spacious living area features a pull-out sofa and oversized coffee table for entertaining.

Trendy
Nice hotel. Bar on the rooftop is trendy, yet comfortable. Late night room service was good without having to wait hours for your food. Used the roomkey to get access (without waiting on long line) to the downtown sister hotel in the meatpacking district.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
This is a small hotel compared to other "5 star " hotels and it does not even come close to a " 5 star" . you should not have advertised this hotel as a 5 star. it was such a bad experience not only as far as the hotel and the amenities , we could not go to sleep at all. there was lots of noise from the next door and hall ways. thin walls or no sound proofing made this a terrible experience and the room was not maintained properly, shower was not working properly, no air circulation and water was staying above your knees. Bathroom water tank leaked constantly. request for room change was ignored by the staff.

Dad Traveling with Teen daughter
This place is weird but pretty cool
Getting to the 29th St. and Park location wasn't easy...can't make left turns off Park Ave. in the middle of the day... and I had to quickly drop my kid off and get to a meeting, but must say the place was pretty cool. The pool was great (although I seemed to be the only one using it). The room was comfy, although the pics of women in lingerie were weird...really weird. There is a bit of haughtiness on the part of some of the folks staying there (I wish people would stop thinking they are sooo cool cuz their staying in an expensive hotel with pics of women in lingerie on the walls). But all in all, if you're looking for comfort and a good location in NYC, this is is a good place...and you're teenage daughter will think its very cool (even if you don't)

Relaxed stay
I loved this hotel, very central, very quiet rooms and great space. Pool bar not for me but looks great fun if it's your thing. Very clean.

Amazing

Swanky hotel
Fantastic and clean. Super pricey spa services but you are in the heart of the city, and can get whatever you want and need by crossing the street. Gigot recommend a stay if you are looking to relax from the city hustle but still want the option to go up and be in the hip pool/launge area.

gansevoort hotel
the hotel is brand new, so it was clean. But the toilet paper holder in bath was hanging off wall broken upon arrival and the TV reception was bad....picture kept breaking up.

Decent NYC hotel...
Room was very nice and decent. Large for NYC standards, and clean and the service was very good. Not too impressed with the hotel dining option, and the roof top bar is one of these overpriced places (after paying USD45 for two drinks, we had to wait 40 minutes for the elevator to go down because there was a private party at the penthouse).

Very Clean
Very Clean. No sign of the dreaded NY bed bugs. Excellent location. Great Staff. New and trendy. The bed, the bed linens and towels are all very good quality. Beautiful pool and seperate observation deck on top floors. Very good New York style Deli/grocery/buffet (open 24 hrs.) right across the street. One block to the subway. Walk to Penn Station, Macy's and the Empire State Building. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
