Over-priced, cramped and cheesy
The hotel is convenient to Soho and the West Village but we were given a small, stuffy room with a cheap heating system that kept us awake. Staff were polite, attractive and eager to please, but they couldn't make up for the physical limitations of the place.

Pleasant Surprise
I have had so many bad experiences with hotels in NYC in the past, that I didn't expect much. I was shocked!!!!!!! The rooms are nice size (for NYC), very clean, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Located right in SOHO makes it easy to blend in. I really will stay at this hotel again and again. Also very close to the Holland tunnel if you have business in Jersey and many subway locations close by. Great Place! I highly reccommend!!!!

clean and great location
Great value and experience-the hotel was small but very new and clean, the staff were excellent, linens crisp, location was great to soho, west village by 10 minute walks....bathroom room for one at a time (ie small), but everything you need.. would return with no reservations.

Good downtown option
GREAT staff...the only problem i had was my AT&T service did not work in the hotel room...had to go downstairs to get service for my phone. They said that all the other carriers are fine... Other than that...a good place if you want to be close to downtown or the village/soho.

Great Neighborhood for First Timers!
Loved the convenient location of the SoHo Hotel...a few blocks away the shopping and restaurants were abundant; easy subway access; enough nearby restaurants for dining..quiet except for ongoing construction..would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to others...the staff could be more genuinely interested in helping customers...they acted as if they were put out if you asked them a simple question about locations or attractions..a turn off.

Great value
View was great but room was way too close to another and could hear people moving around. Room smelled a bit awkward. Make sure to let someone know and they happily accommodate you to the max possible.
