Mother/Daughter overnight, NYC
it was a good experience overall . Had Breakfast at Brewhouse, on site, staff was a little disinterested in in providing service, food however was good. The guests in the next room were very numerous and noisy all night however it was not the hotels fault, that those guest were obnoxious.

Originally from New York I know what I'm getting into when it comes to value plus location. This was a pleasant surpise. Value was very fair considering I stayed on a weekend night. Location is great- Chelsea touches all hotspots for the knowledgable visitor . Room was excellent and staff was much better than other hotels at same value and similar location. No problems at all and I will def consider again when making my way for a normal visit. Def consider this place .

If you are going out with young adult friends this is a great choice because Ironhill clubs are a short walk away.

hurricane took a toll
Obviously staying for a week in a hotel suffering from power cut after a hurricane isn't ideal. But the hotel could have done more and better. After the hurricane the bed was not made for the entire week. We don't mind the cleaning and vacuuming but we hoped that at least on the Friday the beds would be made. Staff was not very friendly and smiling either, I know hurricane sucks but it's not the guests bringing it.

Family Visit
The hotel location was perfect for our visit. Close enough to the rest of the family and the attractions The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on various forme of transportations. The room was clean and well kept but for the price was quite ordinary. There was only one chair and that was at the desk. For one person it was good but not for two

We always stay at the New Yorker, this was better place and they were very nice.Location not as good as the New Yorker, but we walk nine more blocks. Its a must stay place and good price. They let you park your own car it was only $25.00 a night with them it was $40.00 I save $30.00 very happy p.s. 1 block away

Great location, good people
I love the location of this hotel. Within 2 blocks of 3 different subway lines and right on the 7th Av bus route you can go anywhere in the city with ease. Additionally, the staff here was absolutely great. They were friendly and beyond helpful at every turn. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have stayed here and had elevator issues. Although inconvenient, the staff immediately started working on the issue and kept there cool. I haven't found a better place for the price in the city.

holiday hassle
We have stayed at this hotel in the past and loved the location and friendly staff. But this time, they told us our room had been given out, even though we arrived prior to check in time, and we had to be moved to a different location. All of our plans had been made around being able to walk to our destinations (restaurants, shopping, union square) and we were placed in their SOHO location right near the holland tunnel! For this, we were not given anything but $35 toward the $55 parking fee! Poor customer service!
