Dream New York

Pros: The staff are all super friendly and helpful, the bed is pretty comfortable, very clean rooms, and a GREAT location (right next to Time Square!!). Now, cons: The rooms are extremely tiny, I mean.. the smallest I've ever seen. We also had to change our rooms because the sink in the bathroom didn't work, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, & the water coming out of the shower faucet didn't work. Overall, the rooms are very outdated with a horrible view of a brick wall out of the bedroom window. BUT, paying $200/night to be this close to Time Square, what do you expect? Probably would not stay here again; the Sheraton down the block looks a lot nicer and updated, we will more than likely stay there next time for the same price.

Had a great time staying at this hotel. Great location andb it really fitted for our busy schedule. Would stay here when I return to new york next time.

We couldn't have asked for a better location, within walking distance of all the major attractions in NYC. But be prepared - the rooms are tiny, the beds extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom fixtures/fittings old and tired and in need of an upgrade and a good clean. We got a good deal and a discount code, but for the standard price this place would count as a rip-off. Although there was a guide in our room, we only realised on the last day that there was room service and that the hotel was meant to have a gym (although we went and had a look and couldn't see it). A friendlier and more helpful welcome from reception would have been useful. On the plus side, we didn't experience any of the noise from the rooftop club which we had been warned about.

Friendly helpful staff that made the weekend a great experience. The room was cozy, but not so small that it was claustrophobic. The music was loud, but didn't filter into the room. Great location for our midtown wandering. Really appreciated the easy going atmosphere of the hotel.

I had a great deal here for a room on Valentines Day. The decor of the hotel and the rooms is modern and trendy looking. The room was on the small side, but it had a very comfy bed, big tv, bathrobes, plenty of toiletries and some cool blue lighting. The best part- staff. I had to leave very early the next day to catch a flight. They checked me out quickly and even hailed a cab for me!

Was only there for a weekend but the staff was very kind, rooms had cool lighting, clean and awesome bathroom. Pet friendly and the decor was delightful.

Right on Broadway, in the heart of everything. Not perfect, but close enough. Best price for this part of Manhattan. The restaurant and lounge is quite nice.

Queen (mid size) room gladly wasn't too small (by NYC standards) for two of us. Bathroom was also decent (not super tiny!) with a good hot shower. The bed was clean and super comfortable. Blue ambient lighting in the room was a nice touch! The bar downstairs was cosy but dark, and the lounge upstairs was nightclub-loud, but the view was great. Didn't try the Italian restaurant, but it looked nice. But best of all was the location, just a couple blocks from Central Park and Times Square, and close to several subway stations. Staff was friendly, too.

We stayed in two different rooms with the first on Broadway side. Street noise at night made sleeping difficult at best. Second room was on 55th St. side and noise was less, but double pane windows did not stop much of it. If you want undisturbed sleep, ask for an inside room--we should have. Creaky uneven floors with thin carpet made the otherwise clean room feel it should have been better than it was.
