It's a pass if you're there for business
a/c came on periodically and sounded like someone was vaccuuming in my room had room right by the elevator. Between A/C, elevators, and 5am revelers, was anything but restful front desk agent at check in was surly. night front desk agent who checked me out was delightful. Weird room service menu coming from Serafina, the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Lots of normal categories of food missing - could pretty much only get pizza or salad. Swanky front lobby and apparently a roof party on Thursday nights

Horrible
What a waste of money. There is no way that this is a 4 star hotel. The lobby is absolutely beautiful. The location is great. Those are the only good things I have to say about it. Whats wrong with this place? I have stayed at 3 star hotels that were better maintained. There is paint peeling in the bathroom and little bits of damage throughout the room. The room is absolutely tiny. I barely have room to set up the ironing board. The bathroom is ridiculously small. You cant even open the bathroom door all of the way. The shower door doesn't shut completely. How about service? The concierge is hidden behind a high desk. When I asked about the club attached to the hotel, I was told "not sure, I just know it is loud and I try to ignore it". Doorman? nope. I dragged my bags in and about when I was at the elevator, someone finally offered to help. elevators are absolutely tiny, fitting 6 people. being on the 13th floor, I had to wait a long time for them. I would never stay at this hotel again. I absolutely believe that this hotel is overrated, 3 stars at best, and an average 3 star hotel at that. Save the money and go somewhere else.

Certainly not a 4 star
This is not a 4 star hotel. The reception desk staff was inattentive, hung up on me, and didn't look me in the eye. You could stand one in part of the room and seemingly touch every wall. The room furniture was damaged, dingy. The air conditioner/heat sounded like a freight train. I will never, ever stay here again.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel
The staff was nice and the mid-town location was good. Unfortunately, however, the room was just awful. It was the size of a closet, and the bed was so small I couldn't sleep. I have bruises on my shins from running into the edge of the bed several times. And we paid over $250 per night! It was nice to have a restaurant next to the hotel that was open all day. They have a nice club on the top floor, but the drinks were $16 and all of the servers and bartenders were women in tiny little dresses. That might be nice for male customers, but we were looking for a place to be waited on by men. It seems Manhattan is not a good destination for a gal pal weekend.

Not 4 star, more like 2 1/2
Pros: The staff are all super friendly and helpful, the bed is pretty comfortable, very clean rooms, and a GREAT location (right next to Time Square!!). Now, cons: The rooms are extremely tiny, I mean.. the smallest I've ever seen. We also had to change our rooms because the sink in the bathroom didn't work, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, & the water coming out of the shower faucet didn't work. Overall, the rooms are very outdated with a horrible view of a brick wall out of the bedroom window. BUT, paying $200/night to be this close to Time Square, what do you expect? Probably would not stay here again; the Sheraton down the block looks a lot nicer and updated, we will more than likely stay there next time for the same price.

A Unique Place to Stay
The room was about the size I expected it to be, honestly, which was a little small. The hotel really had no 'view' of much of anything, but the rooms were very clean, the bathroom was very clean, and you couldn't beat the location!

a little pricey but great location
I felt as if the location of the hotel was great, walking distance from Timesquare as well as major NY attractions including Empire state building, FAO swartz, and Central park, yet the rooms were a little small for the price paid. on the way home we ended stopping at a little hotel in PA which was half the price and twice the room. The Blue neon lights was fun for the first 20 min but then got annoying and eventually were shut off. Room was very clean, and location was a safe one. One little thing that i didnt know was that you needed to pay for parking which was an unexpected suprise. The parking Garage is like 4 blocks away and 20 bucks a day, if ya wanna walk it or ya can pay for Valet for an additional 50 Bucks a day
