real dreamy hotel
this hotel stay is better than the ones i've had in NY... the staff were really helpful, accomodating and pleasant... i would love to stay here again.

Good value
Experience is one of the better ones I have had. I travel to NY once per year to visit family and stay in Manhattan. I need to know that the place I stay is safe, clean and is in a great location, The Dream Hotel met my expectations.

Too small - not worth visiting
The rooms are way too small. Shoeboxes with a bed. It would be wonderful if the rooms were just a decent size; a little bigger. Too small to move around or use it for anything but sleeping.

"Tony hotel for the in crowd"
Great location right in the middle of midtown. Not only one but two bars. Don't have to go too far for great eats...Serafina on the corner.

Decent Location, So-So Hotel
The hotel is conveniently located near Times Square and subway lines, but the rooms are small and slightly difficult to navigate due to the awkward configuration of furniture. The rooms are also somewhat dark, and the bathroom was small and cramped even by NYC hotel standards. Although I usually enjoy staying at boutique hotels with modern decor, I found the hotel room a little shabby in terms of the quality of the amenities. The renovation of the lobby, however, was nicely done. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Offbeat...in a good way.
The hotel is nicely located in midtown on a quieter block, and is very close to restaurants, shops, subways, and entertainment. The staff was professional, pleasant, though not scrupulously attentive. The common areas are pleasant, though limited. The rooms were quite small and moderately appointed. Hallway noise could be heard, but was not disturbing.The bathroom's appointments were a bit worn with age, yet clean and well maintained. The decor was definitely off-beat. The bed had a blue light under the base that, fortunately, could be turned off. The room had a peculiar portrait of a huge-eyed young woman in tears. I don't mind off-beat and unusual, as long as my stay or activities are not adversly affected. As such, this hotel is worth booking if you like a little difference.

Great Location, Good Service
Nice hotel, with friendly staff, in a great location at a fair price. Right on Broadway in mid-town - convenient for the theater. Steps from the Ed Sullivan Theater - perfect for Letterman. The rooms were a bit small and sparely appointed, but spotless and adequate(if you are in NYC for the weekend, how much time do you spend in your room?). Bell staff were helpful and friendly as were the front desk staff on both check in and check out. The building has a history of famous guests and residents - ask the staff. Service in Serafina was a bit slow, but perhaps as I just wanted in and out.
