Trendy and cool
After the recent renovation the Dream hotel is very trendy and cool. The rooms are quite small but so are every other room in NY. The dining options are great, the roof top bar is spectacular so spending an evening in the hotel is a great option even though you are in New York City. As a tech junkie I love the plasma screens in the rooms, but I would really like some free WiFi to be included. The rooms are broadband equipped, but it's not wireless and it costs 10 bucks a day. Overall, this is a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

A Romantic Hotel - Loved it!
I was in NYC for a week, staying by myself, and I found it a great pleasure to return to my room every night. It was clean and well-lit, but had the added attraction of moody blue lighting (optional -- you could turn it off). I also liked that the lights on the exterior of the hotel changed color, adding to the general aesthetic vibe of the place. My room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and I appreciated the apple on the pillow at night and the New York Times on the door in the morning. The location was superb, really convenient for getting anywhere in town, and I went all over. It's a short walk to the Museum of Modern Art, so you can slip that in anywhere in your schedule that fits, and walking distance to Broadway shows. The only downside was that twice the staff neglected to pick up my room service requests for the morning, so I didn't get my morning coffee when I wanted it. I think this was an isolated problem, as it only happened on the weekend, and Starbucks is just down the street anyway. I would definitely consider staying there again.

The Dream hotel was clean, comfortable, and a good value. I tried this hotel based on the great price and recommendations. I started out in the smallest room for a great price. The room is quite small but very clean and suitable for a shorter stay or one where the room is used for sleeping while you're out for the day. Once I got there I asked for a larger room as my daughter was going to spend the weekend with me. For a mere $60, I moved to a much larger room with 2 beds. I plan to go back several times while my daughter is in NY.

Top Lage - ideal für Erkundung zu Fuss
Das Hotel empfehlen wir wärmstens - jederzeit wieder! Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sowie und vorallem hervorragende, zentrale Lage. Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten und die bekannten Örtlichkeiten liegen zu Füssen - genauso für die die mögen - das JOGGING AM MORGEN IM CENTRAL PARK ! :-)

Restaurant Benihana an der 47 W 56th St, New York nur ein paar wenige Gehminuten entfernt - ein wahrer Spass und sehr lecker!! Für Teppanyaki - Liebhaber ein Muss!!

Hinta huomioiden, 2h-huoneemme oli erittäin pieni ja viihtyisyydeltään keskitasoa. Aulan ja yleisten tilojen sisustus on hieno, mutta ei valitettavasti ollut samaa tasoa ainakaan meidän huoneessa. Siniset valot eivät pelasta hieman nuhjuista fiilistä ja aavistuksen puutteellista varustetasoa. Perusasiat kuitenkin kunnossa ja sijainti aivan erinomainen, kävellen tavoittaa koko Midtownin ja eteläisen Central Parkin alueen. Lähistön turistiravintolat kannattaa kiertää kaukaa, Dreamin ravintola on ehkä alueen parhaimpia hinta/laatu -suhteeltaan.

Manhatten Besuch sehr gut gelegen
Für einen Manhatten Besuch ist das Hotel sehr geeignet. Ist sehr nahe Times Square und Central Park. Viele Restaurants und Bars um die Ecken. Shopping etwas weiter weg, aber mit Metro gut erreichbar. Für Brooklyn Besuche evt. nicht ganz so geeignet, da etwas weit mit der Metro. Für Partytiger ist eher die Lower East Side oder Williamsburg/nähe Brooklyn besser geeignet. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.
