Good location

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was relatively small, but clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Since I was there for business, the location was very close and convenient for me.

NY vacation

My wife and I wanted to check out the city and this hotel was close to a lot of good places including subway stations. The area was nice and safe, the hotel, restaurant and gym were all clean. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Room was normal size for NY but small for Miami. We will definitely come back.

10 blocks north is 46th street also called "Restaurant Row" because it is packed with all kinds of restaurants. A few blocks south around 32th street and 7th ave there are a lot of Korean restaurants that are really good.

Great Stay

Location is prefect for access to Javits. Only less than perfect thing was the clanking of the flags outside my window. I'm sure replacing the hooks could be an easy fix.

Excellent place to stay in the city!

The staff here couldn't have been more welcoming. They allowed us to check in early, were helpful w/directions in navigating the city, hailed us a cab, kept our bad after check out etc. Location was fantastic - an easy walk to madison square garden & subway. Rooms were clean & chic, beds were ultra comfortable.

Great hotel for NYC

We went to the hotel after the rebranding completed, and the experience was very good. The room was incredibly clean, the furniture was new, the bathroom was great! After having had some bad hotel experiences in NYC, I always expect lies and a catch, but this time there was none of that! I've had companies spend $400/night to put me in comparable or worse hotels for interviews.

If you're looking for Coke or for a snack at night, go towards 9th Ave, you don't need to go all the way back to 8th. There's a deli very close to the hotel.

good location, average hotel

The location was convenient, but the room was pretty small considering the price. I'd stay there again though.

Excellent value

A friend and I shared a room at this hotel on a short vacation. It was clean, felt safe, and offered a friendly, hard working staff when we needed them. We both agreed we would re book here when we come back.

Ehh..

The room was small.. which was fine for 2 people.. however King Size bed took up most of room. Parking is $40.00/day in parking garage. Breakfast buffet.. consisted of toast, bagel, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, hot choclate, water or oj. Located within walking distance of everything. If you're a tourist.. I would much rather have a hotel with a hottub/swimming pool.. we walked a lot. Didn't use fitness center at all.People friendly in the beginning, but towards the end they weren't very social.
