Big Apple Bash
If you are on a budget, or want to save money for the sights; this is a great place to stay. Not far from Central Park, plenty of little Upper West Side shops around, and subway access less than a block away. What more can you ask for.

Good Value and Location
Nice clean hotel close to subway that takes you right to midtown or downtown. The not so good... There didn't seem to be any heat in our room (30 degrees fahrenheit outside) however we were comfortable enough (i prefer a cool room for sleep). TV remote didn't work, I left a note for housekeeping, it was ignored. Soda machine and ice machine on our floor were both out of service. I can live with all of this. The great... Everything else was great though, snagged a great deal (especially after a disappointing experience with another website) Room was clean, beds were super comfy! Several restaurants within walking distance. Subway right across the street! I would book this hotel again.

Needs Improvement
Even though the location is great the quality of the hotel wasn't so great. The rooms are extremely small and the carpets are dirty. Even though I requested a smoking room as soon as I walked in the room it smelled like an astray. I believe that for a great location the hotel should be in better quality.

Couple's getaway
Nice staff, nice no issues with the room at all. It was a smoking room (because it was less expensive), but didn't smell bad. Great location, great value. We will be back!

This hotel is fine for location - really close to the 2/3 96th street station. Rooms are tiny and not very quiet. It' also a mixed-use building with apartments in it and mixed in on the floors. Old televisions and no cable. Wifi is really weak. Water doesn't get beyond luke warm and shower fills up immediately with water. So again, if you need a place to crash and you plan on spending minimal time in the hotel, it's fine for those purposes. They were nice about holding my bag during the day.

excellent location
excellent location lots of restaurants nearby. Subway station is right outside. Great internet access. The only problem I had was the room was pretty cold. It may be OK for most people, but for those who need a very warm place (those who are easy to catch a cold), the room is cold in winter.
