Boutique in Theatre District
LOVED staying here! Right in the middle of the Theatre District, and a short walk to Times Square. It was conveniently located and the room was perfect. Never a problem coming or going, and the toiletries and bathroom were wonderful. The furniture in the room was fantastic, and while it was small, it was actually comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was perfect for the next morning. We loved staying there and will definitely stay there again.

Hay your in the city. Yes, the rooms are small but the room is very clean and the bed was great. The location, just a few minute walk to the heart of Times Square or just few minute walk to Lincoln Center and Central Park. Restaurants every where and even downstairs. Would definitely stay here again, and did I mention its a great value for the city.

Perfect for Central Park and Times Square
We were not expecting too much, hotels in NYC are a bit hit and miss. But were pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom were spotless and smelled clean! Nice bedding, small room (we just slept there!) and ability to use computer\internet in reception, coffee and baked goods in the morning before we headed out for the day. Something that our Brit friends did not have with a double priced hotel!!! Great job.

Great value, great location
I was a little wary when I saw the place from the street -- not imposing! But the lobby was spacious and bright, the staff super friendly and helpful. I had a room on the first floor, on the interior, with a frosted window, so no view. Downside: somewhat dreary; upside: very quiet for mid-town. And surprisingly spacious (two double beds with room to move around). If you are looking for great location at an affordable price, this will work for you. If you want a concierge and all the bells and whistles of a fancy hotel stay, then look elsewhere in the area, and pay twice as much.

Unbeatable location
On the plus side: super location a short stroll from Columbus Circle, beautiful marble bathroom, basic comforts for a single guest, and no annoying TV in the lobby area where guests can eat a basic continental breakfast. On the negative side: no desk in my room, chair needed repair, broken chain-lock on door (though the deadbolt worked), creaking floor boards, and narrow hallways. I might stay here again, though I'd ask for a different room.

Pretty darn decent experience for the money. Some issues with fixtures etc but bathrooms pretty new, very friendly and helpful staff. Incredible deal and great location. Perfectly adequate for business trip or pleasure.

Location is great
As a person who has stayed at many European style hotels, I really enjoyed staying here. It is upper midtown near Columbus Circle. I was dropped off by shuttle and was informed by the hotel staff that my room was ready, at 11:00 am. I was able to drop off my bags and start my day. The room first floor was though noisy at night with people coming in I was able to sleep. The shampoo conditioner items were fine. The room is more spacious than other hotels I have stayed. A downside is that I had a small window that opened up in and service, airconditon work area, so the room is dark. But then you are to staying for hanging outin your room all day. Joey G restaurant gives a 20% discount to people stayign at the hotel. I tried them the fist night very night place with good food. There is an India restaurant next door as well that was very good. The coffee supplied I think was on par with A few coffee places near by. I would stay here again as most of my adventures were lower manhattan. Though with Columbus Circle being right near by I was able to get to the Bronx no problem via Columbus circle connection.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Look for hotels that are near cross town bus connectors and subway stations that have multiple trains stopping. Both of these allow travel to other parts of town quickly.
