Soho
Very positive experience, nice staff, and good location. We will definitively come back. Convenient with the subway. We only miss not having a real american breakfast at the hotel but there is a restaurant right next door

I'd stay again.
Weekend couple getaway was very pleasant. Walked to Soho shops, dining, bars, lounges, and clubs. Arrived in NYC via bus (Port Authority). One easy subway ride (the #1 train) landed us at the doorstep of the hotel. Varick St had enough traffic so that cabs were easy to get, also. 14th Floor room was VERY quiet and pleasant (and the elevator was spacious, fast and not "scary" like some elevators are).

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Ear Inn. 326 Spring St. Decent late night food and drink in a landmark neighborhood bar. 12 Chairs (Cafe). 56 MacDougal St. Quaint cafe with awesome Israeli wine (Dalton D Fume Blanc).

Excellent place and location!
First - the location is amazing. Step outside and walk for hours - SOHO is non-stop. Little Italy, China Town like at mile away - Subway across the street - LOVED the location! I am giving it a 5 because it fit our needs perfectly. A girlfriend and I went on vacation - requested and got 2 double beds, room was clean as can be - AC worked wonderfully. Basically - the people at the desk are also well versed on the area - and were spot on with their recommendations and directions. Starbucks coffee ready for us in the a.m. - fresh as can be. It's not one of those overly crowded places where u bump into people everywhere. It's quaint, clean, very friendly. Rooms were cleaned as they should be - we had a no so good view but weren't there for a view and hardly were in our rooms long enough to enjoy it. I honestly do not have a negative thing to say about this place. Cab from JFK - expect $60-$65bucks (before tip). Great area to be in if you are experiencing NY for the first time as we were -

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was perfectly cleaned each day. It was in great shape as well. The room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs. The staff was excellent! They made my stay really enjoyable and helped me with everything I asked for. I would stay here again in a heart-beat!

Excellent Staff
Loved the staff, loved the room - very clean! There is some street noise, but what do you expect in a room on a street in NYC? Staff was sooooo helpful!

Great Stay
We stayed here on a quick trip to NYC for some wedding planning. The location is great, unless its rush hour. Then it can become kind of a nightmare if you have to drive because of the traffic going into the Holland Tunnel. However, I would strongly recommend public transportation anyway. You can catch the 1 just around the corner and its only a short walk to catch many of the other trains. You are also within walking distance of Soho which offers lots of cool places to eat and shop. The hotel its self is very nice, still looks new. The rooms are a decent size and there is minimal noise from the street. The huge floor to ceiling windows are also very nice.
