Great central location
We were in the city for a quick overnight stay to visit a gallery in the Chelsea area. The location could not have been more perfect. We walked just about everywhere. Fifth Avenue was right around the corner and it was a 10 minute walk to Times Square. The staff was more than friendly and very accommodating. The room was one of the bigger rooms I have stayed in in the city and my daughter said the pullout couch was extremely comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and I am planning on booking there for my next trip to New York.

Short walk from hotel
Tony DiNapoli's Italian restaurant. It was what we would consider a short walk (15-20 minutes) on 6th Avenue, I believe. The food was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable for New York.

Nice, but overpriced.
Location was good, but for the price we paid, could have gotten a place with much closer parking, a bellboy service that has a cart to carry our luggage, or a few other things that you would normally expect at a hotel was ignored here. What bothered me most is that the morning we had to check out, the front desk gave us an extra 20 minutes past the noon checkout time, and threatened with a charge if we checked out 30 mins late. So we were out at 12:20 with all our luggage, walked 3 blocks to the parking garage, only to realize we cant physically drive back to the hotel because the easter parade blocked 5th avenue until 3 pm. After walking back and explaining my situation to the lobby staff, one of them had no idea, the other said she knew, and didn't care, and didn't care to help. At that moment, i also realized nobody was checking in due to the road closures until 3pm but we still had to checkout at noon. Hotel staff should have, not only put a notice in the lobby to guests about the parade, they should also be willing to educate guests about it, and to help work around it if possible especially when they are in the middle of it all.

quick trip
Was relieved to see a clean room, was a little scared based off the price that the room would be not so good but it was perfect for what my son and I came down for.The room is small bit expected in NYC and the location was perfect in regards to our destination. Will for certain stay there again.

Nice hotel
The location of this hotel was perfect for our week-end in New York which included a FUN. show at Radio City Music Hall. The accommodations were good. Very nice bathroom for a small room. Our only problem was that we needed a power cord for our i pad. The room info stated that cords were available for loan. But the desk clerk said the only available power cords were in the computer center. There was one cord there but it didn't power up our i pad. Other than that, no complaints.

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. From the time we entered the hotel until we left. The bed was so comfortable and they brought up lots of extra pillows and even a frig....for free. The location was perfect!! The value was incredible and I would stay there in a heartbeat again and will.
