Hotelier Jeff Klein has remained ardently committed to preserving the relaxed privacy of the buildings former incarnation as a gentlemens club and private sanctuary for the citys power brokers. Dating from 1904, and nestled on the New York Citys Club Row. The seven-story, 65 room hotels discrete, elegant façade is in harmony with prestigious neighbors like the New York Yacht, Harvard and Penn Clubs. The intimate duplex lobby that incorporates a mezzanine guest lounge furthers the hotels twin themes of discretion and luxury.
The hotels interior designer, Jeffrey Bilhuber, regards the City Club as an important step in the evolution of his New American Classicism, a seductive mix of classic materials and simple forms utilized in a refreshing and inspired manner. The blend of familiar and innovative appeals to modernists and traditionalists alike, creating a continuity of style while nurturing a modern tradition.
Bilhubers emphasis on comfort and luxury is evident in every facet of the hotel, whose handsome guest rooms feature wall coverings simulating hand drawn plaster, Honduran mahogany, Frette bed linens, and down feather beds. The City Club Hotel also offers three Grand Duplex suites, each with their own private terrace. All accommodations contain voluminous chocolate marble and chrome bathrooms offering CO Bigelow bath products.

Just alright
Friendly front desk but that's about it. Nice of them to put cookies on your bed but that does not make up for the fact that if your 6' tall your feet just about dangle off the edge of the bed, there's no place to put your laptop except on the bed or if you need a hard surface your best option was on the toilet! They ask that you have no more than 4 people in your room but unless you plan to sleep with 4 people (which the bed can not even accomodate)there's not enough space for them to stand! Other than the bed, not even enough room for the smallest chair. It was clean, somewhat contemporary and conveiently located.

Service was great - very friendly
Service was great - very friendly and professional. The room that I got was called the Petite room (the smallest room available) which is really suited for 1 individual even though there is a double bed, as the room itself is oddly enough, 'petite'. The bathroom is beautiful and clean as is the rest of the room. Location of hotel is central (44th street west off 5th Avenue) and situated in the more up market area - also very close to Times Square, Rockefellar Centre and only a short walk to Empire State Building, and is tucked away so that noise levels are reduced. In fact, couldn't hear what was going outside as opposed to the hotels situated in Times Square or on 7th Avenue (v.busy street). Paid AUD $416 for this room - over priced in terms of the space you get, yet I would stay here again because it is such a beautiful clean, central and friendly hotel (its boutique and independent - no big hotel chains here).

Not worth your time or money
City club didn't clean their rooms well or even regularly. Room service food was cold and disgusting everytime we ordered. They didn't give is late checkout or store our bags. They charge over $300 a night for what feels like your staying at Holiday in Express. CITY CLUB WAS THE MOST TERRIBLE THING IVE WASTED MONEY ON!!!

City Club Hotel
The hotel had exactly what we needed - a lovely, modern, clean, upscale feel and not overdone, well located in Manhattan. For a short visit to the city, it was perfect. Not having all the amenities of the larger hotels was not an issue - we just wanted a restful nights sleep. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our experience was positive. We'll definitely recommend to others.

A déconseiller si on choisit un pack avec vol
La chambre proposée dans le pack avec le vol est indigne du prix demandé (1747€ pour 6 nuits). D'une taille minuscule pour y séjourner 6 jours( impossible de poser une valise et aucun placard) j'ai demandé à changer de chambre ce qui a été possible pour un supplément de 30$+Taxes. Soit un total de 300€ la nuit pour un confort moyen. Enfin j'aimerais connaitre de détail des frais de dossier qui s'élèvent à 916€. Le vol avec AIR FRANCE à été parfait avec un personnel remarquable en tout point. Merci de votre réponse

C'est pas ce qui est écrit sur le cite. l’hôtel a affirmé que c’était pas la 1ere fois Attention si vous êtes 4 vous aurez la même prestation, L’hôtel fait l 'effort de changer de chambre a condition qu il y est de la place.

Le MAC DO, les hamburgers sont fait a la commande, la viande est saignant et vous mangé bien chaud. rien avoir avec les Français. délicieux et pourtant j 'aime pas ça lol :-)
