Amenity-heavy hotel in Times Square with a hip, modern vibe
The Best Western President Hotel at Times Square looks traditional on the outside, but the interior spaces have a youthful, modern look. A renovation gave rooms and public spaces a clean look. Free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, business center and plenty of in-room amenities appeal to business and leisure travelers. My review of Best Western President Hotel
The Best Western President was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in,it looked more like a closet than a hotel room.There was no room service available, there were only three ice machines for the hotel. I would never stay there again.

Horrible experience
The room they gave me was not more than 100 sq ft in size with a very small bathroom. It must have been the last room available in the hotel. I felt for the price that this was unnaceptable. I would not recomment this hotel to anyone. Terible service and room quality.

Worst hotel experience of my life
The sheets had makeup and hair all over them. We had to call a maid to change the sheets. We walked around Times Square for a couple of hours and returned to a steaming hot room. We called for a maintenance man and instead they sent up a 6'4 security guard that barely looked at the unit and told us we would just have to deal with it because they were pumping central heat through the whole place. When I calmly explained that was unacceptable because it was like 80 degrees he started shouting at me about being happy with what you are given. I told him to leave over and over.He then came across the room and got in my face and started shouting.I am a female and it was just me and my female friend alone with this maniac. I had to call the front desk to force this man out of my room. This was a horrible place and I am still in the process of trying to get my money back. I am very disappointed with the whole experience. You can find a nice place in NY. But it's not this one.

Best Western President - Manhattan
Location great - in the heart of the theater district. Room very small and dated. Windows had not been cleaned in a great while There are no amenities with the hotel and on a very rainy day, it was quite difficult to do anything. Construction was in progress on the floor above the room and it started daily at 07:30 AM = quite noisey. Also, late night revelers made lots of noise just opening and closing their room doors.

Not good....won't stay there again!
The location was great but the 1st room smelled discusting and the second room smelt a little better but there were hairs on the bathroom floor and on the quilt with dirty pillow cases. The mattress was terrible and we both sunk to the middle all night! Won't go back there!

Going through major reconstruction
I went to see a show at Radio City and shop in NYC. Service/Maintenance was TERRIBLE!!!! The room had no air conditioning and the night of the show the bedroom temperature was at 80 degrees. Can you imagine getting ready in this temperature with blow dryers and flat irons heating up the bedroom even more? Terrible. We called the front desk and they never came to fix the air. This has been probably the worst experience I've had as far as hotels go in NYC.

The bad
The hotel didn't have our reservation. We should have been told the hotel was under renovation or the price should have been changed. This was a trip for my anniversary and as you know my wife was not very happy. I won't be staying there again or using orbitz if that the service I can expect. I will be sharing my experience with my friend and co-workers. I work with over 4000 people so I am sure they will be interested in my stay. I ended up staying at the waldorf astoria now thats a hotel. I spent a extra 1000 dollars but at least they had my reservation right.

Bridezilla
Best Western---- BEWARE!
The hotel was NOTHING like the pictures had shown. We found ourselves asking if it was even the same place. The hallways were so dark that they looked like something off of a scary movie. The rooms were equally dark. I have never seen such a lack of lighting... amazing to me. The bathrooms were dirty and the room was stinky.

give me skin rash, lie dont show me any
hotel under construction not disclosed, bad, room had lights not completedin bath room, nails sticking up from rug out of bathroom, staff very rude not happy to see me never disclosed anything about room or if there were a pool available... hurt foot on nails towels gave me a bad rash on both legs, told desk got a ...wow... only person nice to me and daughter was the maid very disapointed in orbit and the hotel
