Amenity-heavy hotel in Times Square with a hip, modern vibe
The Best Western President Hotel at Times Square looks traditional on the outside, but the interior spaces have a youthful, modern look. A renovation gave rooms and public spaces a clean look. Free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, business center and plenty of in-room amenities appeal to business and leisure travelers. Teensy Tiny, Noisy Room
Ultra small room with loud plumbing noises through out the night and running toilet. Dreary atmosphere and staff ambience despite funky cool decor. Looked worn despite facelift. Very close to the hub bub of Times Square. Not worth the value , will not stay again, will not recommend.

Excellent Location
This hotel was in a great location located 1 block off times square. It was so nice to have our hotel be in so close to all different attractions so we didn't have to walk so far. The hotel was very clean and the staff was always helpful. However, 2 of our nights they forgot to give us towels.

Great Vacation
This hotel is in the best location to theaters, restaurants & shops. Rooms are very small but clean. I have stayed here several times & will stay there again on my next trip. Staff is sometimes friendly & other times not so.

Your money is better spent elsewhere!
Many of the rooms have a/c units that do not work! How do I know this? Because, we attempted to move FOUR times. The first room was so stifling hot so we moved to a second, which has WET carpeting and smelled of mold/mildew. We asked to be moved and were sent to yet another room without a/c. The fourth attempt was even hotter... ultimately, we stayed in the wet room with the foul odor. The staff DID try to help us, but what could they do? The building is falling apart! This place is the DEFINITION of "lipstick on a pig".

NYC for two
The hotel was nice even if the first receptionist was very rude. We had to change rooms because the AC in the first room didn't work, but we were very happy to change. In the second room the AC worked but made so much noise you couldn't use it at night, that wasn't so nice. The room was cute and even though there is a fire station around thecorner and you hear fire engines leaving quite frequently, it wasn't bad. The location is great, near the subway and Times Square. Overall nice but I would only go back if I found a deal, with a good price!

great location and very boutique style
The room was good just a bit small. the service was fine. The breakfast was very good. The business center is not really one;only 2 computers and a printer. Overall though it was pretty good.

Paying for location
The hotel was in a great location and a surprisingly affordable price. The rooms were also bigger by NYC standards. The hotel was a little run down in the hall ways and the air conditioning was either extremely cold or non existent.

Very comfortable
The location is perfect for those that want to be in Times Square (and we did). We had no issues with late night noise. Of course, we didn't get in until midnight most nights. The staff was friendly and the room was good size (we had a jr. suite). It's hard to find a decent size room in NYC. I have to recommend the restaurant Hurley's located just next door. We enjoyed two great dinners there and their homemade sangria. However, we were not impressed with the Vietnemese (sp?) restaurant next door. We would definitely stay here again.
