Amenity-heavy hotel in Times Square with a hip, modern vibe
The Best Western President Hotel at Times Square looks traditional on the outside, but the interior spaces have a youthful, modern look. A renovation gave rooms and public spaces a clean look. Free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, business center and plenty of in-room amenities appeal to business and leisure travelers. The central Times Square location puts guests close to attractions such as theaters, shopping and Central Park.

Location

This hotel puts guests in the center of it all -- shopping, entertainment and dining. Times Square shops such as the Hershey Store and M&Ms World are just down the street. The Eugene O'Neill Theater and Barrymore Theater are a block away. Rockefeller Center, Central Park and he upscale shops on Fifth Avenue are a short walk from the hotel.

Each of the 334 rooms has been recently renovated with a modern flair, featuring chic, black and white decor with colorful accents. The list of amenities is long. Rooms boast hairdryer, iron and ironing board, flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, free Wi-Fi and free long-distance for calls less than 30 minutes. Suites have sitting areas and available refrigerators and balconies. The two Penthouses have terraces.

Worst Hotel ever!

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Old, dirty, dark, smell of smoke in the rooms, horrible staff .

Cannot complain

The room is VERY small even the bathroom. Can you imagine a 3 foot bathtub? But we stayed IN Times Square..which made it very easy. We pretty much got back to the room just to lie down and sleep. So overall it is satisfying but can do better for the price they charged.

Great location

front desk decor very nice ,location fantastic,housekeeping servic horrible ask twice for fresh towels and never got them.room was extremely small. Good for short stays

Perfect Location,

Perfect Location, easy access to public transportation subway, bus, taxi. Rooms small but niceand clean. since you go to New York to walk around and not to spend time at the room all day. I will stay again

Location & Helpful Staff not enough

Location great esp if your plans include attending plays & shows. Most Broadway & Off-Broadway theaters within walking distance. Hotel staff very nice & helpful. That said, hotel itself leaves much to be desired: decor quirky & could use major refurb, bed lumpy, no refrig in room, safe broken, poor & noisy ventilation, shower grungy & in need of re-grouting. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Don't think it qualifies as a 3-star hotel.

Great Base to Explore

We were compted breakfast in return for a "downgrade" in room that really worked better for us. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was small and basic but beds were comfy and room was very quiet. Location was super convenient. Pricey but that is NYC.

Nice Location, Bad Service

Good Location, The Staff was not gentle. No WiFi in the room. The Bathroom was old and the hot watter wasn´t to hot.

Couldn't Ask for Better Location

I must admit, that the room size was very small fro both of us, girls with big baggage... But... once we went, we felt very thankful. The location really really really near Times Square... all we need was like walking distance. I couldn't believe, that we had only 1 block walked to the broadway that showed "chicago"... fantastic.
