The staff was wonderful. It was our first trip to New York and they were extremely helpful. From booking sightseeing tours to dinner suggestions they were full of informaton. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you Best Western Staff for your hospitality!

The staff was very helpful and friendly in giving advice in getting around Manhattan and finding the places to eat and giving directions. The ladies who clean the room also were always there to ensure you had what you needed. I paid a price that was comparable to Texas and was pleased with every aspect of my stay at this Best Western. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Manhattan. If there was any negative it would be the reconstruction in the area after hurricane Sandy. However crews were always considerate and worked hours that brought little if any disturbance.

Cowgirl Seahorse Inn. Strange name, great food moderately priced. Taxi's are the best mode of transportation. I rented a car and parking is very, very expensive and driving, though a challenge I enjoyed, can be stressful till you learn to "beep" back>

Great place, great location
So, this is an amazing location, historic Peck's slip area of the waterfront at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. Restaurants and shopping are literally around the corner, and within a two block area around you. The subway is about 6 blocks away, and 4 major lines converge there that will get you anywhere in NYC. BTW- il Brigante delivers!!!! It's great authentic Italian food, 1/2 block away from the hotel! My only complaint is the breakfast! And, complimentary breakfasts are becoming worse and worse! This was pitiful! The sausages didn't look like they were real sausages, and the powdered eggs just had no flavor. It's not just this hotel- many hotels are going this direction. Luckily, there is cereal, granola, yogurt and even fresh fruits. The staff is amazing there! Very happy to help or even just talk with you! Very friendly, and also very informed. The amenities are very limited- wifi, breakfast... no work out area that I know of. And, I wouldn't recommend it for a family with kids, but then again- I stayed in a single room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and a great bed with very soft towels! AND- they have the NFL network on their system!!! The Peck slip area is under construction- some of it is renovation work, some of it is repairs from Hurricane Sandy. So, I'd love to go back when that is all done.

Three Happy Sisters
Above Average Hotel for the Price
3 elderly sisters who wanted to see the St Patrick's Day Parade. Staff were so helpful and friendly - they went out of their way to help us with directions, places to eat -- EVERYTHING in fact. Breakfast was better than any continental breakfast I ever had i.e. boiled eggs, waffles etc etc. The only negative was that we would have preferred to be closer to the action near Broadway. This is a 10+ and we enjoyed our stay.

Best Western Seaport Inn Downtown Review
We love the Seaport Inn. We recomend it to everyone that choses to stay in Manhattan. Not only is the location great but the people are always so willing to help. When you stay there its more of a everyones family envorinment then a big corporate hotel whne your just a number.

Short walk from hotel
Visit Pier 17!! Spend the whole day there , walk along the Brooklyn Bridge, visit Little Italy. Enjoy the lower part of NYC. Its beautiful. OH one more thing!! Ride the Shark at the pier. Its a fun and fast boat ride to the Statue of Liberty with alot of entertainment.
