Appropriate for short stay
The hotel is close to Times Square and it is easy to move to Manhattan Midtown. Rooms are small but comfortable. Noise from the corridor and the train is not nice. The rates are not a bargain.

The ferry from Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan Midtown offers a nice view. Maybe it is not stable enough for some photos.

Very good for the price!
Location good, but you have to walk at least 3 blocks untill subway, stores, restaurants, and etc. The room is small but enought for few days. Breakfast very honest, and the workers very nice. In my opinion is a hotel tahn can cost between 90 untill 110 US.

Good priced hotel
This was perfect for us, we spent little or no time in the hotel, but when we did, the facility was easy to get to, clean, and provided everything we needed.

Great Location
Nothing fancy, but good location for the price if you just need a place to come back to at night and sleep. Walking distance to Time's Square. There's also a drug store at the corner in case you forget or need something. Rooms are clean but a bit small. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast included eggs, waffle, cereal, toast, bagel, apple/orange/coffee, fruit...Overall had a good stay and would return.

Short walk from hotel
There are lots of restaurants and bars in the upper West side of Manhattan. A lot less crowded than Time's Square area.

Great economy stay close to Times Square
rooms are small but comfortable, hotel is clean and looks recently renovated. walls are very thin so you might get to hear your neighboors. there is a railway very close to hotel which makes it loud when the train is passing but it wasn't too bad at night though. just 10-15 min away from Times Square. Overall very good experience, will definitely come back

Good location, clean & simple
My fiance and I enjoyed our stay at the best western. Of course its nothing fancy, but it is clean and in a good location to Times Square and good shopping/restaurants. We walked everywhere from the hotel easily. It is located across from a pharmacy on one corner and a car garage on the other so the view isn't great, but we didn't mind.We would stay there again because you can't beat its price compaired to other hotels in that area.

Unhappy stay!
First of all, the room that they first gave us upon arrival was supposed to have a king bed in it, there were two double beds put together under a coverlet. The room smelled of pesticide leading us to believe that there had a bug problem in there. We opened the window to air out the room and found that there was no screen, so it was impossible to keep the window open for any period of time without bugs getting in. The person writing this is James Morgan's girlfriend Sarah Halsey who stayed with him at the hotel. We left to do some sightseeing and shut the window. When we got back that evening, when I went to bed, I felt like things were crawling on me, I turned the light on and there were dozens of bugs crawling over me, my pillow cases and my sheets of my double bed part of the bed that we were in. I have bug bites on both feet, both legs all the way up to my stomach. I was not a happy camper to say the least. I finally slept on top of the bed in the coverlet, it was either there or sleep in the bathtub. Also, there was hydraulic drills being used throughout the night, there is a taxi repair center across the street, and even with the air conditioning on, the noise was outrageous. I reported this the next morning and the staff member was very courteous to me and arranged to put us in another room. We stepped out to do some more sightseeing and the hotel personnel moved our bags to another room, which was we found when we arrived back was a little bigger and had the kingsize bed that we were originally supposed to get and it was bug free. The manager I must say was wonderful to me, she saw that I was still in a lot of pain, from the bug bites on my feet, I had to wear bandaids on both feet to be able to wear my sandles to walk. She went out and bought me some calamine lotion for my bites and upon check out she did give my boyfriend $80.00 in cash for the pain and suffering that we went through. Also during the transfer of bags from the first room to the replacement room, a burnished silver ring with a bezelled topaz stone which I had in one of the pockets of my suitcase went missing. This is something that I am in the process of calling the hotel and seeing if it can be recovered, but I fear that it was stolen. I made it myself and it is worth well over $500.00. I have had many more enjoyable trips than one in the past. The staff did seem to be gracious, especially the manager. But I do hope that they will get the bug infestation taken care of. Even the second room had a pesticide smell to it, but it wasnt as bad as the first room.

Very Friendly
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The neighborhood was a little scary. There was not a lot of people when walking to the hotel. There was a lot of buildings being built and the walk to time square smelt like urine. The hotel was awesome for the money. The rooms were small but who cares. It was clean new and the staff was friendly what else can you ask for! Very close walking distance to timesquare. Great place, I'd stay at again!

Timesquare is within walking distance. About 4 blocks. There is no subway near the hotel. A taxi to Grand Centeral was only $6 so everything is very close!
